Not only are these seats impressively close to the field, but you also get a pretty amazing view while being right on top of the action! One of the unique benefits here is that you get great elevation over the fans sitting in front of you in Row 2. For some reason, there is an extra bit of height between rows when sitting in rows 1-4 as opposed to being in rows 5 and higher, which is a great perk when you're already so low to the field. Phenomenal straight ahead views of home plate, and incredibly close to the White Sox dugout as well as the home team on deck circle. On the rare occasion that I do get to sit this close, I tend to worry about the safety netting being a distraction and having less than ideal overall views to the entire field of play, but neither were issues from here. Also had great sight lines right into the visitor dugout if you're into that. Probably the only downfall here is the mini-marathon needed to get to and from the concourse which is more than a 30 row walk! But once you finally make it up there, you're right by a delicious smelling churro stand, a Revolution Brewing cart with tasty beers, a Majestic team store, and believe it or not, both a women's and a men's room just steps away. Full/permanent concessions are available just a few sections down the third base line, so its no sweat if you want a bit more variety. Overall, I can't say enough about these seats, and would absolutely recommend them for any baseball fan that wants a truly memorable experience at Guaranteed Rate Field!

Stunning Views of the Infield

I bought these seats for Michael Kopech's Sox debut, hoping to get a good view of his full arsenal - and they delivered. Absolutely phenomenal views of the mound and everything happening at home plate. They were a bit pricier than seats just a few rows up, but being in the second row at field level was worth it. Biggest drawback? The Sox on-deck batter might get in your way sometimes. But that's the price you pay for sitting so close.

Lower Box Seats

On the White Sox seating chart, sections closest to the field are known as Lower Box seats. This includes sections 111-153. Boxes Near the Infield Lower Boxes near the infield and behind home plate have a number of different names, including Diamond Box, Platinum Box and Gold Box. Despite having different names, these seats have similar experiences. The Sox dugout is located in front of sections 137-142, while the visitors sit in front of 122-127. Row 5 in these sections is the actual first row behind the dugout. Sections 130-134 are directly behind home plate and behind the Scout Seats, which occupy the first 12-15 rows. Boxes Down the Line Sections down the line are known as Lower Boxes or Lower Box Corners. Again, this distinction is meaningless. The biggest complaint with seating down the lines at Guaranteed Rate Field is the angle towards home plate. Seats further down the line face the outfield too much and will have you turning your body to see the batter-pitcher exchange. To make the angle less severe, consider sitting in a higher row. Your view will be more comfortable and you will be closer to the concourse. Additional Notes Seats on the first-base/right-field side are shaded first, while seats down the left-field line will have the best view of the star board in right-field. Netting has been added down the lines which severely limits the foul balls in sections 116-118 and 146-148 (previously foul ball havens). Most sections in this area include 35-38 rows of seats with the higher rows being covered by the Club Level. And most rows have fewer than ten seats per row (exceptions include sections close to the foul poles).

These seats were hand-selected for being close to a wide-range of amenities. They are within five rows of the concourse (fewer stairs) and there is a men’s restroom, women’s restroom and concessions near this section.
Recommended For Kids and Family

Seats are shaded and covered to protect from the sun and rain. Little-to-no stairs to walk to reach restrooms, concessions and other amenities. Lower level seating provides access to more amenities and better views of the game

Within three rows of the field - some of the closest seats to the action. Sections 135-136 are just a few feet from the Sox on-deck circle (128/129 are near the visitor warm-up area). Incredible field level views keep you engaged in the action
