Rate Club Location & Details

The Rate Club is located directly behind home plate on the suite level at Rate Field. This section is labeled GR on the Chicago White Sox seating chart and features some of the finest seats in the ballpark.

These open-air seats are fully covered, protecting fans from the elements while still maintaining the feel of being right in the middle of the action.

The Rate Club consists of just four rows of seating and is limited to roughly 200 seats, making it one of the most exclusive seating areas at the stadium. Directly above the seats is a private club lounge where fans can grab food and drinks throughout the game.

Rate Club Views

No matter where you sit in the Rate Club, the views are exceptional. These seats are positioned directly behind home plate from a slightly elevated vantage point, creating some of the best sightlines in the stadium.

Row 1 is the most desirable row and includes a rail in front of the seats that can be used to place food and beverages.

Rate Club: Positioned just above the Scout Seats on the suite level, the Rate Club provides a slightly more elevated perspective of the field while still offering a premium, all-inclusive experience. With just four rows and roughly 200 total seats, it delivers a more intimate and comfortable club-style environment while maintaining elite views behind home plate.

Club Level Seats: Club Level sections offer a strong middle ground for fans looking for an upgraded experience without the full all-inclusive package. Perfect View and Perfect Amenities

First time in the Home Plate Club. I've literally sat in every other section for a White Sox game, including everywhere on the club level and multiple times in the Scout Seats. It's a tough call between the Scout Seats and here. In both areas you get all-inclusive food and drink. I think the spread in the Scout Seats is bigger, but I liked the quality of food better here. Buffet stays open til 830pm and you can continue to order food and drink at your seat until the 8th inning. Desert begins once the buffet is taken away. My two favorite things vs. the Scout Seats is that the seats are much closer to bathrooms and the elevated view makes it easier to follow the game. The seats are fully covered which is great on a hot day but it is tough to see some fly balls and tough to see the fireworks from here.

Arrived right at 5:40 when gates open, took the elevator up and was working the buffet by 5:45. Sat in the dining room and had a nice dinner before the game. Continued eating and drinking in the seats all night. So nice to know that everything is all-inclusive. Really comfortable spot for watching the game. And a number of foul balls were so close to ending up in the Club. This was my second time sitting here, and I'll be back again!

My favorite spot in the ballpark. Had a family outing up here and it did not disappoint. Food for everyone, free drinks and a comfortable spot for watching the game. Even saw Rick Hahn dining up here before the game (a White Sox winner).

Seating & Ticket Questions

Where are the wider seats in the park? My son is of larger size and the regular seats are too small and uncomfortable for him.

Most of the seats at Guaranteed Rate Field are standard stadium style seats. There are a few sections that will have larger seats because they are premium sections. These would be the Scout Seats, The Goose Island, and the Guaranteed Rate Club which all have larger seats.... Read More
