    Be Prepared for the Sun

    Baseball Review
Loge Box 160, Row KK, Seat 5

The view of the field was really quite good, nice elevation above field level, and a good angle to see the pitchers mound and the Red Sox dugout in the background. The seats also felt very close to the third base dugout (visiting team), although don't have much a view of the visitors players sitting on the bench. But the biggest thing that stuck out to me was the amount of sun you get when sitting here. Wish I had been a few rows higher where the seats got some shade from the upper deck, and sadly I was just a few rows too low where sunscreen is an absolutely must. Also, just a pointer to try to get the higher numbered seats in this Row KK. There are 12 seats in the row with a railing at the right side of the row, so if you're in seat 1 you'll be climbing over quite a few people to get to the only aisle which is at the left side of the row (at Seat 12).

    • Loge Boxes

      -

Loge Boxes at Fenway Park are a great option for fans who want to be in the shade, close to the field, and do not want to worry about obstructed seats.  Each section has less than 15 rows, with rows being labeled AA-NN, and the concourse tunnel located at row AA. Some fans prefer the first row because no one is sitting in front of you. But others will be distracted by patrons in the walkway in front of this Row AA. If you feel this may be a an issue, consider sitting slightly higher - perhaps row CC and above. All rows in all sections are in front of the infamous poles that obstruct views from the Grandstand. Our favorite sitelines come from Sections 125-134. These are located behind home plate and offer great views of the entire field.  Another benefit of Loge seats in this area is sun protection. By late afternoon a majority of seats in these sections are no longer in the sun and seats on the third base side will get shade before seats on the first base side. Loge Box Infield vs. Outfield  The Loge Level wraps almost entirely around the lower level of Fenway Park. As you get closer to the foul poles, ticket prices decrease compared to seats near the infield. Despite a lower price tag, these seats still offer good value and unobstructed views. Comparing outfield sections on the third base side (157-165) to the first base side (98-106): Third base sections have a better angle to home plate First base sections have a head-on view of the Green Monster Third base sections are shaded well before the first base side First base sections have a slightly better view of the scoreboard

Forget about worrying about obstructed views. You're not getting em here. Nothing but clear sidelines to every angle of the field. One tip in the field boxes, wit a couple rows up. There is so much foot traffic in the walkway that row AA seems to be blocked all the time. Row EE was great!

If you're looking for a comfortable seat with amazing views, this is where you'll find it! Loge Box 157 is the first Loge level section down the third base line where the seats begin to angle towards the infield instead of just facing straight ahead towards the right field wall.
