Field seats for a concert at Fenway Park offer a unique and memorable experience for music fans. While it’s not a Red Sox game, being on the field where so much baseball history has unfolded adds an extra layer of excitement to seeing performances by some of the world’s biggest artists.

Adding to the atmosphere, the iconic Green Monster serves as a stunning and recognizable backdrop for concerts, making the experience even more special for fans seated on the field.

Fans with tickets on the field are usually directed to pick up wristbands in designated areas near the outfield. Temporary beer and merchandise stands are set up on the field, providing easy access for attendees.

Concert Field Layout

The field is arranged into multiple sections for seating, with some areas closer to the stage offering more direct views. For select performances, there may be a General Admission (GA) pit located directly in front of the stage.

Views from Field Seats

Field seats at Fenway provide some of the closest views of the stage, but because the ground is flat with no tiered seating, sightlines can be impacted by taller fans in front. However, the trade-off is worth it for many fans who appreciate the up-close experience.

The Green Monster also adds a unique visual element to the experience, towering over the outfield and creating a memorable setting for both the music and the fans. For those seated further to the sides of the field, the angle to the stage may affect the view slightly, but large video screens are typically installed to ensure every attendee has a great visual of the performance.
