Reds 2023 Tickets Guide

Updated 12/16/2024 / First Published 2/21/2023
2023 Cincinnati Reds Tickets

The 2022 Reds season was an uneventful campaign that might be remembered more for what happened off the field than what happened on it.

The Reds lost 100 games and now haven't had a winning record (for a full season) in 10 years.

Unfortunately for Reds fans, there aren't many reinforcements on the way. Some pundits rank the team dead last in pre-season power rankings. On RateYourSeats.com, 2023 Reds ticket interest is second-to-last among all MLB clubs as of February.

Where to Buy Reds Tickets

Season Tickets

Reds season ticket memberships are currently on sale through the team's website.

New members will enjoy the same seats all year, discounted tickets, member events and post-season ticket priority.

Single-Game Tickets

Reds single-game tickets for the 2023 season are on sale through the team's website.

Tickets for all 81 home games are also for sale at RateYourSeats.com. From there you can use the team's interactive seating chart to search, compare and buy Reds tickets all season long.

Group Tickets and Packages

The Reds offer one of the most diverse multi-game offerings in the league. Besides season tickets, the team offers no fewer than nine other ticket plans.

Fans can buy as few as six games in one of these plans, and still enjoy discounted tickets and other membership perks.

Groups of 15 and above will find a number of ticket options at Great American Ball Park. These include themed spaces like the Riverboat Deck, Party Barn, Party Decks and Patio.

Group packages are customizable, though most include all-inclusive concessions or concession credit.

2023 Ticket Prices

The Reds did not make any official announcements regarding ticket prices for 2023. Expect face values to be similar to what they were last year.

On the secondary market, Reds tickets are much less expensive than the average MLB ticket. In 2022 - and through the first two months of 2023 - Reds tickets are among the five most affordable options in the league.

Cheap Reds Tickets

As of February, about of the games on the Reds schedule can be attended for $10 or less.

Most of these cheaper games come at the beginning of the year when the weather is hit-or-miss or against un-popular teams like the Rays and Marlins.

The Reds also have 10 afternoon games scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These start at 12:35, and the get-in price for each game is less than $15. This includes the games against the Mets and Dodgers.

Key Series in 2023

The Reds aren't expected to play a lot of important games in 2023. In turn, their biggest matchups will come against some of the league's most popular teams.

In addition to seeing every N.L. team in Cincinnati, the Reds welcome eight American League teams. Five of these, including the Yankees, made the playoffs in 2022.

Here are the hottest Reds matchups and tickets for 2023:

Yankees vs. Reds - May 19-21

A weekend series against the Yankees in what should be pretty good weather? Yeah, this is one of the biggest series in years in Cincinnati.

Ticket prices for this series are easily the highest all year.

Braves vs. Reds - Jun 23-25

Big crowds are expected at Great American Ball Park for one of the Reds' first series of the summer. The kids will be out of school, and one of baseball's best teams comes to town.

The series is on a weekend - and Cincinnati isn't that far from Braves country. Expect a big showing on the visitor side of the field near sections 116-118.

Cubs vs. Reds - Sep 1-3

The Reds welcome one of the N.L.'s most popular teams over Labor Day weekend.

With this being the unofficial end of summer, expect big crowds and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Cardinals vs. Reds - Sep 8-10

The Reds will enjoy a 9-game homestand at the beginning of September. At the end of this stretch is a 3-game set against the Cardinals.

If the Reds make an unexpected leap towards the playoffs this year, this series could become important in the N.L. Central race.

Best Ticket Options at Great American Ball Park

The best ticket to a Reds game is found in the Diamond Seats behind home plate. There are only five sections in this exclusive area between the two dugouts. A few highlights of what makes them so great are their close location to the players and amenities like an all-inclusive buffet or in-seat wait service.

If those seats are out of budget, the Scout Seats or tickets on the club level are also highly desirable.

The table below lists top ticket options with the lowest price for the rest of the season (as of Dec. 16, 2024) and a link to explore seats.

Cheaper Options

It is anticipated that there will be a lot of cheap tickets to catch a Reds game in 2023. Many of the cheapest seats are in the 500-level or the left-field bleachers.

Sitting in these locations don't provide the best view of the game, but are a good option to get in the park inexpensively to enjoy the gameday atmosphere.

2023 Changes at Great American Ball Park

New for 2023 at Great American Ballpark is a sportsbook located on the left-field corner of the stadium. The location can not be accessed from inside the concourse but is an addition to the surrounding area of the park.

Best 2023 Reds Giveaways & Promos

Every Tuesday home game is a 3-2-1 Tuesday. Beers are $3, hot dogs $2, and ice cream $1.

Giveaways are also scattered throughout the schedule with some of the best being a Joey Votto bobblehead and Great American Ball Park replica.

Finally, fans can enjoy post-game concerts in 2023 including performances by Lady A, Zac Brown Band, and Quinn XCII.
