Great place to feel a part of the game.

    Baseball Review
    Field Box 40, Row A, Seats 1 and 2

The seats were four rows back of the field and between home plate and the on-deck circle. It was the first time I've been close enough to hear every pitch hit the mitt and every hit crack. The Red Sox got pummeled, but the view was great, being just outside the edge of the protective netting. Only the view of third base was obstructed by the umpire and players at the plate, but otherwise a full field of view. Great way to see the players up close and also see the entire field.

    Field level awesomeness

    Baseball Review
    Field Box 40, Row E

Eight rows behind home plate. It's like being on the field. Unbelievable spot for a Red Sox game. Sun is a bit hot here and the iverheqd screen means no balls are getting through. But I guess that's the sacrifice you make for sitting so close.

Front of sections 9-79 are behind the netting

    Baseball Review

There is some amount of netting or screening in front of sections 9-79. The height and coverage of netting or screening will vary by section.

    • Dugout Box

      -

While Fenway Park does not have Scout Seats or all-inclusive club seats on the lowest level like many newer ballparks, the first three rows of seating in most infield sections are known as Dugout Box Seats. Besides for being just mere feet from the oldest field in MLB, these seats offer impressive amenities you won't find anywhere else in the main seating bowl. Dugout Boxes are located at field level and are padded (bottom only) with extra legroom and a cupholder. The first row in Sections 39-50 (A1) will also have a TV monitor on the ground in front of them. All Dugout Box seats include in-seat wait service (food and drinks not included in ticket price) and access to the Clubhouse -- a climate-controlled lounge with HDTVs.

    • Field Boxes

      -

The Field Boxes at Fenway Park are some of the best seats for a Red Sox game. These seats offer fantastic, unobstructed views from within 20 rows of the field. Guests will be hard-pressed to find a bad seat in this area. The biggest complaints typically center around the size and discomfort of the actual seats. When choosing seats here, carefully consider which side you'll be sitting on: Third base seats are shaded before first base seats First base seats have a direct view of the Green Monster Sections 21-28 are behind the Red Sox dugout Sections 62-68 are behind the visitor dugout At the front of each section is Dugout Box seating (numbered rows) or an actual dugout. Rows are then lettered and go as high as Row M, which is where the main walkway is located. All rows will be behind the protective netting. Don't confuse these sections with the Right Field Boxes, which are an inferior group of seats.
