Great American Ball Park has many handicap accessible seating options available, with the best options located at the top of most lower level sections (100 level) in the infield. Where are the best Level 1 concert views at Great American Ball Park?

The best place to sit on the lower level is in a place that gives both a good angle toward the stage and is also not too far away from it. Sections 111, 112, 134, and 135 are two sections on each side of the stadium that are in great locations to watch the concert. These sections are the closest to the stage that are angled the right way for a concert. It would be better to sit in these sections than some on a higher level because they are much closer to the stage, but it would be a good idea to sit in a row near the middle of the section on the lower level to get some elevation to see over all of the people on the field. It is important to avoid seats in the outfield (Sections 140-143 and 102-105) on the lower level because these seats are almost behind the stage and have very poor views.

At GABP, seats on the first base side of the field are the first to get shade. Aim for seats that are between home plate and first base, which will have the sun behind them for a 7:00 game in late September. rnUpper deck seats are especially well covered and protected, even during earlier game times and in the middle of summer. rnLeft field seats and seats far down the 3B line should be absolutely avoided.

What sections are in the shade at Great American Ball Park?

You will want to search for seats on the first base side of the field for the best chance at being in the shade at Great American Ball Park. The sun will be at your back during late afternoon and evening games. In the upper deck, a super-steep bowl means the overhang provides ample protection from the elements. Avoid seats in left field during afternoon games if you are sensitive to the sun. Seats in right field are not much better, but the rows farther back in Sections 108-112 are OK. Our top choices for staying in the shade will be in the back rows of sections 301-307 (Row J through Row O). These seats are also club seating, which provide an all-inclusive experience which also provide multiple lounges to watch the game from indoors. Other good shade options include the last few rows of sections 127-134, where the club level above creates shade for the seats below.
