Perhaps the Most Comfortable Seats in the 300 Level

    Jul 2013

    Concert Review
    Section 310, Row 6, Seat 1

If being close to the stage is most important to you, you'll want to spend more money to be in a lower level, or at least on the side of the stage. But if you care about comfort, these seats are pretty perfect. They're on the right side of the section, so you're nearly looking eye-to-eye with the performer. The height is actually pretty cool, as you can see a lot of what's going on -- including sick glow-stick action in the lower levels. In addition, being on the aisle three rows from the concourse entrance means getting into and out of the seats is a breeze. The aisle gives plenty of room to toe-tap with the music, and I literally was able to get a beer in between songs because it takes about 30 seconds when there are no lines (one of the premium beer stands is right outside this section). Overall, you do spend a lot of time watching the show on the screens -- and the sound at the United Center for a concert is unforgivable -- but these are some of the best cheap concert tickets you can find at the UC.

    Birds Eye View

    Basketball Review
    Section 310, Row 15, Seat 8

Stairs were steep to get up to Row 15, but once there got a good view of the whole court and could see the plays develop and track all the action. Very cool for the basketball strategist or avid fan, might not be the best for young ones or those looking to impress a guest. Vendors were scarce, and ambient noise (in addition to my awful hearing) made conversation a bit difficult, but very fun to watch the fluidity and fast pace of the game from the angle we had. Once down the stairs and out the entrance for 309/310, mens room was maybe 10 steps, but women's was a bit further down. Concession stand just outside the section entrance with standard stadium food and beverage. Although there was a cool open air bar just a few steps down from the men's room with more premium selection of beers. Very cool.

    Highest seat in the house!

    Basketball Review
    Section 310, Row 17, Seat 4

Literally the last row of the 300 level. They actually built another row after the ADA seating, so you have to walk up a few more steps to get to this row. If you’re taller than 6 feet, you might hit your head on the ceiling if you jump up too fast! Not a bad view, just be prepared to be up high.

From the Bulls' second three-peat to the Blackhawks' recent dynasty, die-hard fans have crowded the upper level to witness some of Chicago's best sports moments. These sections have some of the best views of the banners that hang in the rafters, and they're the best seats for finding cheap Bulls or Hawks tickets. Recommended Seats for Concerts, Basketball and Hockey Sit in a sideline section for basketball gamesEven if it means sitting in a higher row  Sit in the lowest row possible for hockey gamesEven if it means not sitting at center ice  Review the seating chart for your concert The best seats for most shows are at the front of sections 319 and 333  Rows and Seat Numbers Each 300 Level section has up to 17 rows with an entrance located near Row 3. Seat 1 is on your right as you look towards the floor from your seats. The best rows to sit in are 1-8. Rows 1-2 have the best views, and Rows 3-8 have the fewest seats. This makes it easier to get in and out.

There was a railing right next to my seat and it was blocking my view.

Great deal when it was $8 to get in with a student ID. You're really far away from the ice sitting here and behind the goal, but it's easy to see plays develop.
