Both teams dominated their semifinal matchup. Alabama stifled Cincinnati's offense and controlled the game with an outstanding ground game. In the Orange Bowl, Georgia jumped out to an early lead against the Wolverines and never looked back.
Alabama defeated Georgia in overtime in the 2018 version of the National Championship game. The Crimson Tide have won seven straight against UGA, who are looking for their first championship since 1980.
The two most National Championship-hungry programs in America vie for a spot in the Championship Game. Georgia and Michigan have been two of the best teams in the country week-in, week-out.
