For the shows in the US, the average low price to see The Eagles is $282. Ticket prices are always fluctuating and can vary from show to show.
The three cheapest events on the schedule are:
These prices reflect how much it is to get in the door. Fans should expect to pay more for better seats.
The Eagles has scheduled more than 13 shows in the United States and Canada thus far this year. The most popular shows of the year are listed with their average get-in price.
The February 19th show at Moda Center (Rose Garden) was one of the first shows The Eagles scheduled in 2023. In all, there were more than 15 shows scheduled across North America.
Ticket prices for The Eagles concerts in 2023 averaged about $535. Among these, the February 21st show in San Jose (SAP Center) was the cheapest, with an average ticket price less than $380.
The Eagles scheduled more than 15 shows in 2022. This includes the February 28th show at Amalie Arena and a November 27th show at Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock.
The average ticket price for all shows was $480 with the highest prices being recorded for the show in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena.
One of the most popular The Eagles shows of 2021 was Friday September 24th at Footprint Center. Interest for that show was at its highest when ticket sales began. Interest continued and ticket prices increased as it got closer to September.
Across all The Eagles shows in 2021, interest was strongest right when the shows were announced and tickets went on sale. Meanwhile, ticket prices typically fell about 40 - 45% from the date a show was announced until the days leading up to the show.
Eagles fans who have been looking forward to seeing the Eagles on their most recent tour are going to have to wait. Dates in March and April have been postponed due to Coronavirus. The shows have not been cancelled, but instead the Eagles rescheduled for later dates for all venues they didn't get to. Before the pandemic hit the United States, the band was able to get through four out of the nine cities slated for their tour celebrating the 'Hotel California' album.
For some fans this will come as a disappointment and for others it may give them an opportunity to catch the band if they couldn't make the original dates. We were in Atlanta to review one of the first shows on the tour and can confirm this is a tour you don't want to miss.
Denver - Pepsi Center
Los Angeles - The Forum
San Francisco - Chase Center
Minneapolis (St. Paul) - Xcel Energy Center
Dallas - American Airlines Center
Phoenix - Talking Stick Resort Arena
Hang on to your tickets! These new dates are just postponements, not cancellations. All tickets will be valid for the new dates of the shows.
Make sure you get the most out of your tickets. We have a guide on what to look for when buying Eagles tickets for this tour. For even more information, we broke down by venue where to look for tickets in your city.
As the Eagles hit the road celebrating their Hotel California album, hundreds of thousands of fans will be out searching for tickets to the shows. For most stops on the tour, the band will headline multiple nights making it a little more unique of a tour.
You can read the tips when buying Eagles tickets which covers the tour as a whole. Here we discuss seats specific to each venue with a stop on the tour and hand selected some of the best seats for the Hotel California Tour.
**NOTE: The dates below have been rescheduled due to the Coronavirus. The information for each venue is still accurate when looking for tickets. You can view the rescheduled dates here.
After several nights out East in Atlanta and New York, the band will move out West toward Texas and Colorado where they will spend nearly a month across three different cities.
Fans looking for Eagles tickets in Dallas will have three different nights to choose from. The first are a couple of back to back shows on February 29th and March 1st followed by a third show a few weeks later on March 17.
For Eagles tickets in Dallas at American Airlines Center the goal should be to find tickets within the first five rows of the 300 level or lower. Any higher of that will make the fans feel separated from the show.
The best seats for the Eagles in Dallas are on the Floor in Sections 10-12 and in the side sections 105-107 and 120-118.
Between the Dallas shows is another set of back to back nights in Houston. Being a Friday and Saturday night these shows at Toyota Center will be the place to be on these days.
Toyota Center is unique on this tour with only a 100 level and then skipping to the 400 level. Fans looking for Eagles tickets in Houston should try to stay within the 100 levels for the best experience.
Of course with the price of tickets this is not always possible. If this is the case for you, shift your search to the 400 level side sections. Since there are only two levels, these upper level seats can still provide better views than most. The most important area to avoid are the upper rows in sections 415-421.
After nearly a ten day break, the Pepsi Center is the next stop on the Hotel California Tour. The shows will happen on a Thursday and Saturday - the 26th and 28th of March. Eagles tickets in Denver are among some of the cheaper prices seen on this tour.
For this reason, fans traveling might want to take a look at these shows. Floor tickets for these shows are nearly half the price of other venues on this tour. If the 100 level is out of the question the 200 level is great for more intimate seating with only four rows of seats.
If the ticket prices in Denver have you looking in the 300 sections, the odd-numbered sections are the best place to be. Even the sections opposite the stage (319, 321, 323) are better than the lower rows of any 300 level side section.
Holding the only Midwest date of the entire run of shows is St. Paul at Xcel Energy Center which is just outside of Minneapolis.
For Eagles tickets in St. Paul there are many different options and levels. Here, the club level provides a really special view and is in between being up high enough without going too high.
If looking in the 100 level try avoid going beyond sections 115 or 105. At this point, the club sections closest to the stage will be the better view and experience.
After the spread out month of March, the Eagles will head out even further west to the California cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles before closing out the U.S. dates in Phoenix, Arizona.
For a special Easter weekend, fans can get Eagles tickets in San Francisco at the brand new Chase Center. For many fans this might be their first time in the new venue, so it is important to know where the best options might be. We reviewed Chase Center in depth.
First to note is that the 200 level is high and steep. There are many clubs and suites built in above the 100 level seats and this raises the upper level crowd quite a bit. While the cheaper seats are up here, it is important for fans to be aware of this and weigh this before buying their Eagles tickets for the Chase Center shows.
Otherwise, the views among all lower level 100 seats will be good. Even the last rows of the end sections will have good views for this tour.
Tickets to the Eagles in Los Angeles at The Forum seems like one of those ticket stubs to be cherished for some time. One of the world's most iconic bands playing in one of the most iconic venues.
For this reason, the Eagles will be playing three shows at The Forum starting out with back to back nights on April 17th and 18th before coming back the following week on the 24th.
The Forum is like a continuous bowl separated by a single walkway. Any section in the 100 level will provide above average views. If you are searching for a bargain in the 200 level sections, keep it at or below row 10. If you get any higher the speakers and other rigging will begin to obstruct the screens.
Fans wanting to catch this tour last minute will need to find their Eagles tickets in Phoenix. on April 21 or 26. After these dates, the band currently only has three more shows scheduled for 2020 and they are all in other countries.
The 100 level sections at Talking Stick Resort Arena have nearly 30 rows in them. The entry tunnels come in at row 20, so fans who will have a harder time walking up and down a lot of steps should stick with tickets closer to this row.
Due to the larger lower level, this makes the upper level a little smaller and further away. Tickets up here will find themselves about even with a lot of the equipment attached to the ceiling which takes away from the experience a bit.
When the Eagles announced more dates for their new tour for 2020, our team was excited to get to attend one of the first shows on the schedule. We attended the February 8th show at State Farm Arena in Atlanta which was just voted the best new concert venue.
The show breaks down into two different sets for this tour - the Hotel California album set and Greatest Hits set. This review of the Eagles concert will look at each set separately as they are very different in songs played and length.
The show starts with some theatrics as a cloaked man pulls out a vinyl of the classic 1976 album 'Hotel California'. As he places the album on the record player the screen in front of the stage lifts as the band plays 'Hotel California' - the first song on the record. Don Henley sings along with the 20,000+ fans in attendance and it sounds fantastic.
The stage is basic with several large screens to help fans see. Touring band members Joe Walsh, Deacon Frey, Timothy B. Schmit, and Vince Gill line the front of the stage. Throughout this portion of the set and the entire show, each member has a turn at taking the lead on a song since front-man of the band, Glenn Frey, passed away in 2016.
Hit song 'Life in the Fast Lane' is the third song on the album and also in the set. With its heavy guitar riffs and faster pace was one of the most energetic of the night. Don Henley leads this one after coming out front from behind the drum set.
This tour was advertised with a live orchestra and they make their first appearance on the next song, 'Wasted Time'. The orchestra rises behind the band on a platform with near 40 members. This element of the show was very unique and well done. It was something we have never seen at a touring concert before.
The final four songs, 'Victim of Love', 'Pretty Maids All in a Row', 'Try and Love Again', and 'The Last Resort' finish out the set. From start to finish, the Hotel California portion of the show lasts about an hour. After its conclusion, the band announced a twenty minute intermission.
After the short break, the band returned for a whopping twenty-three songs and another two hours plus of music. This portion features every touring member with some songs coming from members' individual discographies. It was a marathon of showing off the talent on stage and the impressive careers that the group has had.
It was clear how much of a "greatest hits" set this was by the fans reaction to every song played. Songs like 'Take It Easy', 'Take It to the Limit', and 'Life's Been Good' getting among the biggest ovations. The orchestra made several more appearances which tied the first and second sets in nicely.
Receiving one of the largest reactions of the night was the last song before the encore, 'Heartache Tonight'. Nearly every fan stood and sang, sensing the night was coming to a close. After the song was over, the band recognized the crowd before leaving the stage.
The exit was short lived as within a minute they were back on stage to wrap up with a four song encore. The songs were 'Rocky Mountain Way' led by Joe Walsh, 'Desperado' led by Don Henley, 'The Long Run', and finally 'Hotel California' once more.
From start to finish the show was longer than three hours which is impressive for a band with most members in their seventies. With so many classic hits, the show would be enjoyable for even the casual listener. While our Eagles concert review is positive, we did not take price into consideration. Fans looking to attend one of their upcoming shows will need to weight the factors of price and interest in seeing the band before the stop playing. You can read about what to look for here.
Tickets to see the Eagles live in concert are among some of the most expensive tickets this year. To help fans make the most of their night out with the Eagles, we have put together some tips after attending one of the first shows in Atlanta at State Farm Arena.
For many fans, the budget will drive where they are able to sit for the show. Below are several options throughout any stadium that would be the best option no matter the budget and also seats to avoid.
It probably comes as no surprise that the floor seats are about as good as it gets to see to the Eagles live. While they have big video screens, the band is not always projected on them. When sitting on the floor, you will be able to clearly see the band and will not need any reliance on the screens behind them.
Not all floor seats are the best to see the Eagles though. We would recommend the first few sections closest to the stage. After that it may be better to look at lower level sections on the sides as discussed below.
The next best Eagles tickets are on the lower level side sections. The elevation makes it easier for clear views to the stage depending on how many fans are standing or sitting.
If you have a favorite Eagles band member, the side you choose can make a big difference as they do not move around much during the show. When looking at the stage, Vince Gill and Timothy B. Schmit will be on the the left and Deacon Frey and Joe Walsh will be on the right. Don Henley will be centered on the drums and will also be in the middle when he comes to the front of the stage for songs.
If the lower level sides are also out of budget, we suggest sections with head-on views over upper level side sections.
The stage has two large screens and one massive screen in the back of the stage. These side screens combined with all the lighting rigs almost guarantee some kind of obstruction for upper level side sections.
The band plays at the front of the stage so they will be in view, but the screens are still nice to have to add to the experience. Also, for some songs an orchestra will be behind the band and can be obstructed by these structures.
Seats listed as side views or limited views will be behind the band. Since most members play at the front of the stage, fans sitting at these side sections will be watching the band's backsides. Other than that, limited view seats do not take much else away from the show.
As the Eagles get ready to hit the road this year, many fans will begin to look at what will be on their setlist at the upcoming shows. In 2019, Eagles fans got a glimpse into what the 2020 Hotel California Tour setlist might look like after the band played a string of shows in Las Vegas.
As advertised, fans can expect the Eagles to play the album Hotel California in full. During the Las Vegas shows, the nine songs featured on the album opened up the concert. Once the album is finished, the band swung into their "Greatest Hits" portion of the setlist, which was another 23 songs of classic Eagles and other well-known songs from band members' discographies. The same format should be expected for the Eagles Hotel California Tour setlist in 2020.
Outside of touring members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey, and Vince Gill, there will be several other very talented musicians on stage including a full horn section. Although the concerts are advertised with a full orchestra, this is only for a few songs and is not a consistent element of the show.
The show from beginning to end will feature around thirty-two songs and be nearly three hours in length.
With a career spanning nearly fifty years, there is no shortage of songs to put together a greatest hits set. For this tour in 2020, the greatest hits portion of the Eagles setlist will be around twenty-three songs and will include "Take It Easy", "Take It to the Limit", "Already Gone", "Heartache Tonight", "The Long Run", and many more.
Since many members touring with the Eagles in 2020 have created music outside of the band, their music is also featured throughout the spectacle. The impact from guitarist, Joe Walsh, will be prevalent during this portion of the concert playing "Rocky Mountain Way", "Funk #49" and other songs from his time with the band James Gang. Don Henley's "The Boy's of Summer" is also a highlight.
Following a brief - yet successful - run of shows in Las Vegas, southern California's favorite rock band, the Eagles, will embark on a multi-city tour in 2020. Dates for the Hotel California 2020 Tour include an opening night in Atlanta and three shows at The Forum near Los Angeles.
The Eagles played dozens of arenas in 2018, pairing up with music superstars Chris Stapleton, James Taylor and Jimmy Buffett. However, after playing more than 50 shows on a grueling 7-month trek of the United States, many fans were skeptical of future shows and were left wondering if the Eagles will tour anymore.
Just weeks before the Hotel California tour was announced, the Eagles spent three nights performing in Las Vegas. These shows were seen as a trial run for a potential multi-stop schedule in 2020.
Fans packed the sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena as the band played three hours of hits, including the entire song list from the Hotel California album. With 40,000 tickets sold, it was obvious that fans wanted to see more from the iconic record sooner rather than later.
Rather than playing multiple cities in a single week, the band has decided to play runs of shows in fewer than ten cities. For instance, the Eagles tour includes Minneapolis and Denver for two nights each, but thoughts of a 2020 Eagles show in Chicago are wishful thinking.
As of February 1st, the Hotel California 2020 Tour dates are as follows:
Atlanta - State Farm Arena
New York - Madison Square Garden
Dallas - American Airlines Center
Houston - Toyota Center
Denver - Pepsi Center
Minneapolis (St. Paul) - Xcel Energy Center
San Francisco - Chase Center
Los Angeles - The Forum
Phoenix - Talking Stick Resort Arena
