The openers for most stops on his tour have been Tyla Yaweh and Swae Lee. Tyla Yaweh has appeared in multiple shows with Post Malone throughout 2019, and had high energy throughout his Chicago performance. Swae Lee performed next, and had the crowd singing along to Rae Sremmurd hits like “Black Beatles”. Swae Lee often ran deep into the floor sections to perform his songs and interact with the fans.

Post Malone’s live show was obviously the main attraction, and he took the stage between 9:30 and 10:00 PM. After opening with the title track from his new album, he went right into his hit “Better Now”. Hollywood’s Bleeding is his third album, and in the last few years, few artists have had as many hits as Post Malone. It’s hard to fit so much music into one short set list, but Post Malone plays most of his popular tracks from “White Iverson” to the newly released “Goodbyes” with Young Thug.

The Runaway Tour might as well by called the Hollywood’s Bleeding Tour, as it started directly after the album was released and is the focus of this tour. Hollywood’s Bleeding showcases Post Malone’s versatility and growth as an artist, and the Runaway Tour further proves that he’s an artist that here to stay.

Although Post Malone has always been an artist that can’t be narrowed down to one genre, the new album and tour take that to a new level. Watching him perform “Allergic”, a rock song on his new album, was definitely a highlight. He also grabs his guitar and performs an acoustic version of “Stay” on most tour dates.

Seeing Post Malone live really gives you an appreciation for the talent that he has. Watching his pure singing talent during “I Fall Apart” is something Post Malone fans simply need to see live. Experiencing an entire sold out stadium sing along to hits like “Psycho”, “Rockstar”, and “Sunflower” is well worth the price of a ticket.

Post Malone is one of the most iconic music figures to emerge in recent years, and it will be interesting to see where his career takes him in the future. The Runaway Tour captures him at the best he’s been yet, and Post Malone’s live performance should not be missed by any of his fans.

Tyla Yaweh, an up and coming artist originally from Orlando, Florida, moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. He was soon noticed by Post Malone, who now brings him on most of his tour stops around the world. His debut album Heart Full of Rage was released in early 2019, and spawned popular tracks like “High Right Now” and “Salute” with French Montana.

Swae Lee provides direct support for Post Malone, and often runs throughout the floor level during his performance. He’s part of rap group Rae Sremmurd, so be ready to sing along to their biggest tracks like “No Flex Zone” and “Swang”. His set consists of several of his solo tracks, as well as covers of some of his favorite tracks by other artists. Expect Swae Lee to make another appearance later in the show when Post Malone performs their collaboration “Sunflower”.
