  • Section 432 Reviews

Not well lit, and steep stairs on the aisle

    Apr 2014

    Basketball Review
    Section 432, Row 12, Seat 2

The view from these seats is better than other sections directly behind the backboard, however its still high up and in the corner of the Toyota Center. Don't expect much when it comes to legroom up here and sadly there are no cup holders either. Over anything else I noticed how dark it is up in this section. Poor lighting and being tucked in the corner gives the experience a theater feel, and also make the already steep stairs even more dangerous to traverse. I was near the aisle on the right (where it was darkest), and saw a small child stumble on the steps of the aisle. Thankfully he didn't fall, but he did drop his full Pepsi as a result. After seeing that it would be hard for me recommend this section to anyone with small children, or who does not see well in low light.

    • 400 Level Baseline (Basketball)

      -

Most Baseline seating in the Upper Level is made up of 16 rows (exceptions in handicap accessible rows) with the first row being Row 1. Row 14 in Sections 401 and 418 are wheelchair accessible with seating available at the top of these sections.  Upper Level Baseline seats are among the furthest away from the court, but are also among the least expensive seats in Toyota Center. The front rows in these baseline sections are just above the last rows in 100 level seating and are lower to the court than the first rows in 400 level sideline seats - making them a good value for fans on a budget. Just beware that sitting in the front row does lead to long walks up and down the stairs each time you want to reach the concourse.

      (Section 403) - -

It was great sitting in the front row with no other fans in front to block the view, however the glass safety railing left me leaning forward to get a clear view. When sitting back normally in the seat you can still see through the glass and to the court, but found it to be very distracting and onl...

    • "Typical Behind the Basket Seats"

      (Section 420) - -

Pretty typical behind the basket seats. View isn't great and you can't see the big videoboards all that well. For the same price, you can sit in the corner and get views of the big board. The one OK thing about being in Row 10 was not having to walk a bunch of stairs to the seats. If you're in Ro...
