"Good coverage near the very top of the stadium"

Seat Review From Section 315, Row 20, Seat 6
Apr 2014

Comments

First things first, these seats are very high up in the stadium. At row 20 I was just 3 rows from the back of the upper deck and not surprisingly the views are very far and aerial. The left field corner was lost to the front of the section to my left, and no luck on seeing the third base dugout. The Rangers dugout is on the first base side so I could see to it decently, but again was very far.

The view of the scoreboard was great though as the seats point towards second base with the scoreboard just a quick glance away. One advantage to sitting this high up in the park was being well protected by the roof at the top of the stadium, which would have kept us very dry if it had been drizzling at all for the night game.

Section 315 was very popular with families and had a fun atmosphere. Good breeze was an additional bonus and would be might be a good upper deck option for sunny day games.

Best for... bringing the family, fans on a budget

Avoid if... you want to watch the game

  • "Poor view, comfy seats, annoying fans"

    (Section 304) - -

You don't sit in Section 304 for the view. It's not that great. You're really far away from the field and tracking the ball is a difficult task. Not to mention that a lot of left-field is completely out of sight. It was nice; however, to find some seats with a head-on view of the action. We were ...

  • "Comfortable Seats, OK View"

    (Section 302) - -

We ended up moving a couple times during the game, and finally settled on these seats as a comfortable option to kick back and enjoy a few beers without annoying fans or a large crowd. If you're completely intent on watching every detail of the game, sit somewhere else! Pitches and batted balls a...

  • "Hated these seats!"

    (Section 336) - -

Ended up moving in the 4th inning, because these seats were just not fun. They were cheap, so they're a good way to get in the ballpark inexpensively. But you're pretty far down the line, which means that you have to look back left the whole game to see homeplate. This gets really annoying after ...
