"Good View, Awful Club Amenities"

Seat Review From Section 215, Row 8, Seat 9
Apr 2014

Comments

Section 215 offered a really good view of the field. The seats were ever-so-slightly angled towards homeplate, which I absolutely love. You have a great view of the infield and one of the best views of the videoboard.

I didn't like Seat 9 at all. It was right in the middle of the row, which meant that I had to ask a few groups of strangers to stand up when I needed to leave the section. The view from Row 8 is waaaay better than the view from rows 1-5. You can't see a bit of left-field, but you don't have to worry about the ridiculous railing that affects the first few rows.

I liked my club view, but the club level was the most embarassing club level I've visited (and I've visited a lot). It's an open-air (covered) concourse, with ugly dirty floors. The worst part though is the food. It's the exact same as on the 300 level! I've never been to a stadium where the club level food is the same as the upper level. I walked the entire concourse and had to settle on nachos because the variety was non-existent.

Seats closer to homeplate have in-seat wait service (I think). I'm not sure if the menu is better for those ticketholders, but I sure hope so. Besides for poor variety, there were very few drink and food stands, especially behind homeplate.

If I did it again, I'd sit in the club for the view, and I'd make sure I go in-seat service in hopes that the menus is more expansive.

Best for... watching the game, bringing the family

  • "Terrible!!"

    (Section 208) - -

Foul pole was right in front and my view of 1st and 2nd base was nonexistent. They have Chick-fil-A advertisements on the foul poles, and they are not "mesh see thru" as they appear to be. Waste of money.

Feels like you're neither close to home plate, nor way out in outfield. So you don't feel awesome but you don't feel too far away. Great angled view of home plate down 3rd base line. Great view of Jumbotron. Seats slightly angled toward home plate. Hand rail kind of in way of home plate view. Last r...
