Among my favorite seats!

Apr 2014

Section 31, Row 19, Seat 1

There are seats closer to the field than these, but I love the elevation and being able to see most of the field without sharply turning your head. What makes these seats really special, especially for baseball purists, are the views of the batter/pitcher exchange and the left side of the field. There aren't many better side views of pitches as they head towards the plate. Similarly, there aren't many better views staring at the left side of the field where most of the action happens. This is simply one of my favorite view-points. Seats aren't covered from above, but this side of the field does get shade first. There're only a few steps from the concourse with concessions and restrooms. And there's only 12 seats in this row, so not a whole lot of people to deal with getting up and down. The only burn about these seats is looking right to see the videoboard. It puzzles me why they don't take out some of the upper seats in LF and install a videoboard. Rangers fans like to sit on the 1B side, but they're void of being able to see the big board without constantly turning the head to see.

    (Section 27) - -

These were great seats for $53 each. If I had only one warning, be prepared to be hot if it's an early afternoon game. Ours was in the sun until about the middle of the third inning. If comfort is king, the seats farther down behind the first base line up under the canopy seem to be the way to go.

  • "Covered, excellent view!"

    (Section 123) - -

These seats were a little odd to get to, but definitely worth it. Completely shaded.

  • "Doesn't Get Much Better!"

    (Section 23) - -

The seats here behind homeplate are padded and more comfortable than the rest of the seats in the ballpark. Row 4 is really the 7th row because there are club seats in front. But you get pretty much the same view as club seat patrons at a fraction of the cost! There's not much more to say about t...
