Great shade on the first base side

Apr 2014

Section 133, Row 39, Seat 5

If you're looking for seats in the shade, these are an excellent choice. Well tucked under the floor of the seating deck above kept me completely out of the sun during the late afternoon and was nice and cool from a temperature standpoint. Of course, it did come at the price of being able to see the scoreboard in right field, as well as high fly balls hit to the outfield. I faced directly at the mound from the seat so there wasn't a constant turn to the left or right to see the exchange from the pitcher to the batter. Watching plays in the infield it seemed like a near perfect view, but deep and high fly balls quickly reminded me of the seats above my head. Good views into the visitors dugout on the third base side, but not so good views of the right field foul pole. All in all, I think these seats are a great option for visiting team fans that want to stay out of the hot Texas sun during day games in Arlington.
