Great...If you don't care to see the game!

    May 2014

    Baseball Review
    Section 144, Row X, Seats 7,8,9,10

Our seats were 24 rows up, section 144 row X. We literally could not see 40 percent of the outfield. Our view was obstructed by a big round Pepsi sign and the smoke stacks. I can't believe the Reds sell these tickets at full price. One would think that there would be an asterisk of something of that nature beside these seats on the website warning of an obstructed view, but that is not the case. I was told by my usher to speak with someone in guest services about possibly getting different seats. After standing in that line for about 30 minutes, i was told that I needed to go the ticketing line. Because the game was sold out, ticketing was not able to move us. We were so disappointed. Not only was our view of the outfield nearly halfway obstructed, we could not see the jumbotron at all. No view of replays, batters on deck, etc. This tickets were CRAP, pure and simple. Must be the worst seats in the house!

    • Sun Moon Deck

      -

The Sun and Moon Deck located in Right Field at Great American Ball Park is a great place to sit for any fan looking to catch a home run ball. Sections 140-146 make up the location and are considered the Sun Deck during day games and Moon Deck during night games. Highlights of Sun/Moon Deck Seating  A fun option with tickets in these seats is to arrive early when gates open to catch part of batting practice. Great American Ball Park is known as being hitter friendly with players routinely sending balls flying into these seats as souvenirs for fans to take home. Another cool aspect of sitting in the outfield are the views into the bullpens. Fans can make the short walk over to left field to see Reds players or take a look behind section 140 for the visiting team. Section 140 also puts you close to the Bow Tie bar and Riverwalk, making it a good option for socializing during the game. Fans will enter the sections through tunnels located at Row H and walk up or down to their seats from there. Prepare for Sun  Of course, being named the Sun Deck means these seats will see a lot of sun during Reds day games. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and prepare for the heat during games in the middle of the summer.
