Stay in the first ten rows

    Aug 2013

    Section 215, Row 10, Seat 25

If you sat six rows back from here, your view of the field would be in jeopardy. But if you're in the first ten rows, you have a really good view of the entire field from a really good height. And with the seats being covered, you never have to worry about the sun pounding down or the rain threatening your seats.

    Corner seat, but good view

    Section 215, Row 7, Seat 5

I was in section 215 row 7 seat 5, and this was at the corner section of the field and the view was actually pretty good. I was high enough where I could see the entire field, albeit on an angle, but I did not have to strain my neck to watch the action.

Seats were decent other than the column in the way.

Avoid Section 215 Due to Potential Obstructions

Obstructed seating at FedEx Field is a major issue for football games. Seeing long passes, kicks and the scoreboards is difficult from 200-level sections on the North side of the field.

The upper deck hangs over the back part of sections 213-230. Rows 14-23 are the most obstructed and the level of obstruction becomes more severe the farther back you are.

    • 200 Level

      -

The 200 Level at FedExField contains a combination of the best and worst views for Commanders games and concerts. Best Views in the Stadium  Some of the best views in the stadium come from the first 8 rows in sideline sections on this level. These seats are 30-40 rows from the field and are an excellent choice for guests who like to keep a close eye on the game. Worst Views in the Stadium  If you're thinking about sitting in one of the higher rows on this level, use caution. At row 9: guests start to notice the overhang At row 11: the overhang starts to obstruct views of the field At row 14: views of the field become severely obstructed  We strongly advise against purchasing tickets in one of the obstructed rows. Some views are partially blocked, while the worst seats can barely see much of anything.

    • Recommended For Kids and Family

      -

Well covered by overhanging seats above offering protection from the weather. Low enough to avoid the obstructed views found in rows 13 and higher

    • Recommended For Visiting Team Fans

      -

Good viewing angle down the opponent sideline. Not far from the visiting team entry tunnel. Safely in front of any obstruction in the first 6 rows
