Decent Value for True Suns Fans

    Nov 2021

    Basketball Review
    Section 108, Row 6, Seats 5-6

These seats are behind the basket in row 6, right at the Suns tunnel. Starting with the good: They are close to the action. When big dunks happen on your side, you feel like you are a part of the play. With these seats' proximity to the tunnel, you can get some autographs if you catch the players at the right time. It's also the Annexus Social Club tunnel, which means your Row A and B courtside-sitters go through here. A few nights ago Jack Harlow went through, and tonight, Colin Kaepernick stopped by and took pictures and signed autographs with everyone who wanted one. This section felt more like a family section than anything else, though. Lots of kids trying to get autographs and loud, fun, Suns fans. Not saying you won't enjoy it if you're a quiet person, but if you are really INTO the game, you'll have a great time. Now for the bad: The legroom here was suboptimal compared to most other sections of the arena, you're too high for "high-fives" from the players (and convenient autographs) from your row (6), and of course, the stanchion in your line of sight. It really is a tradeoff though. You either go down to rows 2-3 for interactions with players and to be closer to the action, but then the stanchion is blocking more of your view. It's more of a personal preference kind of thing when you're determining your row for this section. Overall, good experience, and if you can get these seats somewhat cheap for an expensive game, I would. Otherwise, if you're looking at cheaper games, I'd aim for the sidelines rather than the baseline.

    • 100 Level Baseline (Basketball)

      -

For many NBA teams that share an arena with a hockey team, sections behind the baskets are pushed back really far from the action. At the home of the Suns, this isn't the case. Instead, the closeness of these sections create a more college-like atmosphere than in most arenas. Despite being close to the court, sections 108 and 120 offer some of worst views for a basketball game. With the hoop located directly in front of both of these sections, seeing if a basket is made or seeing anything on the far end is a challenge. When choosing baseline seats on the lower level, 108 and 120 should be avoided altogether. As an alternative, choose 107 or 119 where you won't be directly behind the basket and where you'll never have to walk to many steps to get in and out of your section.

    • "Behind the stage; better than expected but still bad"

      (Section 120) - -

When I bought tickets behind the stage for a concert at Talking Stick Resort Arena I knew what I was getting into. Behind the stage seats are cheaper because, well, they're behind the stage. I will admit, Justin Timberlake did it better than most. There were a couple songs that he played specificall...
