My son's grandfather pays over $300 for $250 face value 11th row seats and you can't see over a 3rd of the court. The seats are directly behind the giant NBA hoop stand where most venues put stairs! What a scam the Bulls are running here. If you want to watch the game on the jumbo TV scoreboard from rows 1 to about 25 in floor section 106 (same on the other end) go ahead and buy these totally obstructed view seats. Includes seats 5,6,7,8 from rows 1 to about 25 when you are finally high enough to see something over the hoop stand. Thank you United center and Chicago Bulls.

Directly Facing the Middle of the Stage

Unlike side seating, where you have to turn your body to see the stage, this seat faces exactly the middle of the stage. You are pushed back from the stage pretty far -- especially for being in the 100 level -- but being higher up off the floor in this row means not having to look over tall people. If you like watching the sound guys do their thing, they're right in front of you.

The United Center 100 Level is made up of sections 101-122. Tickets in these sections are usually the most expensive in the building and your experience will vary depending on the event you're attending. 100 Level for Concerts If you're attending a concert at the United Center, pay close attention to the seating chart for your show. In most cases, the stage is at the West end of the arena and the best 100 Level seats are side sections. When the stage is at the far end, sections 113 and 121 are easily the best seats in the lower level. Fans will be close to the stage and have a comfortable view of the performance without straining their neck. 100 Level for Bulls Games When considering lower level tickets for a Bulls game, we highly recommend paying the extra money to sit along the sideline. These seats provide unobstructed views without the baskets getting in the way. We urge fans to completely avoid sections 106 and 117. These are directly behind the basket and have some of the worst views at the United Center. 100 Level for Blackhawks Games For Blackhawks games it's going to be tough to find a bad seat in the 100 Level. Sideline sections give you good looks to each end, corner sections have great angles to the ice and end sections offer a unique persepective. The Blackhawks shoot twice towards the net in front of 117 The player benches are in front of 101 and 122 The glass may disrupt views in lower rows

The Blackhawks will shoot twice on the net in front of section 117. They will defend twice and have pre-game warm-ups at the net in front of section 106.

How much does the sound booth obstruct seating in Section 106 for concerts? For concert seating section 106 is obstructed view. I assume this is due to the sound booth, but just much obstruction is there?

The sound booth does obstruct seating in roughly the first rows of Section 106 for end-stage concerts at the United Center. Because the lettered rows (A-M) do not rise from the floor at all, the obstruction is relatively severe AND you have to be concerned about taller fans sitting in front of you.
