Enjoyed the game immensely and the view was very good, right on the 20 yard line, but these seats are very high up. The steps are steep and a bit of a chore to climb if you're not in great shape. Was winded when I got there. These seats are almost on the aisle (seat 21 is the end of the aisle), so entering where it says Section 434 actually makes more sense. If you enter where it says 435 you have to climb over 17 people. Odd they would sign it that way in the concourse. I also thought it strange that the sections go up in number in a clockwise direction, but the seat numbers themselves go up in a counter-clockwise direction. You've also got quite a long walk to and from the washrooms from this high up, 3 separate sets of stairs to go down to get there. Hard to figure how they could put all the washrooms below the 300 level and make everyone walk down that far. Massive crowd in the concourse lined up to go to the washroom before halftime even started. Game was a good experience, food was very good. Tickets were very expensive for what they were, but the entire stadium is on the very expensive side compared to other NFL stadiums I have been to (Pittsburgh, Detroit, Miami).

Home to some of the furthest views of the stage and largest seating sections, the 400 Level Grandstand is best suited for fans looking for a cheap ticket for a concert at Soldier Field. Your best bet at a decent view for an end stage performance comes in the first 5 rows of sections 439-440, which keep you closer to the action while avoiding an extreme side angle view. As you move further south than section 436, the views are noticeably distant and you will be best off just going with the most affordable option among sections 427-435 and saving a bit more money for another round of beverages. Sections here are the largest of any at Soldier Field, with most featuring 37 numbered rows of seats. Entry tunnels are located just beneath row 1, so be prepared for long difficult walks to and from the concourse if sitting in rows 15 and higher.
400 Level Grandstand (Football)

With the highest and furthest views of any seating area at Soldier Field, the 400 Level Grandstand sections are the best place to find cheap Bears tickets. Better gameday experiences can be found elsewhere, but for fans working with a tighter budget these sections offer a decent place to be if you can find seats in the first 15 rows. Sections here range between 32 to 37 rows of seating in each, with smaller sections located near the corners and the largest sections being closest to midfield.
400 Level Sideline (Soccer)

Located on the west side of the stadium, the 400 level sideline is the largest seating section at Soldier Field and is rarely opened for a soccer match. These sections are massive with up to 37 rows. Fans will enter the sections from the bottom, so fans with higher rows can expect a long walk and a lot of steps to their seats.

When looking at the Soldier Field seating chart, one of the largest collections of seats is called the Grandstands. This area is made up of sections 427-447 and some also consider 330-344 part of the Grandstands. 400 Level Grandstand Seats The cheapest tickets for Bears games and concerts are typically found in the 400 Level. This is an expansive area that offers a wildly different experience (and climate) depending on where you sit. Rows in each Grandstand section are numbered. Row 1 is the first row in most sections - and is also the row where you enter each section. We strongly urge guests to purchase tickets in the lowest row possible (if the budget allows). Sections like 427-429 and 445-447 are heavily exposed to the elements. Sit more towards the middle or be prepared for a cold afternoon. 300 Level Grandstand Seats While 400 Level Grandstand sections can turn into a nightmare if you pick the wrong seats, it's hard to find a bad seat in sections 330-344 for a football game. There are 15 or fewer rows in each section and the entrance to each section is located at the top row. Whether you're in the first or last row, you'll be 30-45 rows from the field - a sweet spot for football games and large stadium concerts. Among all Grandstand sections, 335-338 are the best for a concert. These sections have a comfortable angle to the stage without being too far away.
