The Coors Field Rockpile is famous for being the cheapest seats in the house for a Rockies game. Most tickets are reserved for day-of-game sales at the stadium box office, and retail at $4 for adults, and $1 for children under 12 and adults over the age of 55. These seats are bleacher style with no back support available, and have the furthest views to the field of all the outfield seating (but will have good views of the nature area located just beyond the center field wall). Considerations for Family Rockpile tickets can be a good, cost-effective option with families who want a night out at the ballpark. Dingers playground is located just below, inside the Platte River Rendezvous. This is a play area designed for children 42" and smaller. For day games, these seats will be fully exposed to the sun. Families should bring sunscreen for protection.
