    Decent Views For Quasi-Cheap Seats

    May 2012

    Section 204, Row 4, Seats 4-6

Wanted to see a game at Coors Field and not pay a ton. Between their bad 2012 start and craigslist, it was relatively easy to find good seats, reasonably priced, from season ticket holders. For Sec. 204-- Pros: good view of most of field, view of mountains to southwest, smaller section with its own, easily accessed concession stand and bathrooms (though it's as easy to get to main concourse). Box office charged $27 for those seats and we got them for $17. Easy access from Park St./parking on the north end of the stadium. Cons: Sunny, exposed seats for many game times (we accepted the section because it was overcast), concession stand moderately limited and can be slow for cook-to-order/larger orders, no view of last 1/4 of right and right-center fields and out-of-town scoreboard. Some people like to hang on railing-- which sometimes affects the view from the lower-row seats-- before being chased off by ushers.

    • Right Field Mezzanine

      -

Exclusive to right field only, sections 201-209 make up the Right Field Mezzanine and put you on the second tier of seating in the outfield. Views from this are are slightly elevated from the outfield looking back at home plate. These sections are slightly smaller than most with no more than 17 rows in a section. Being on their own level makes this area slightly less congested as well. Sections 202-204 are a unique option as they are located above the team bullpens. Even though they are in the outfield, fans in these seats will only have moderate chances of catching a home run ball. While they are not the most desirable seats at Coors Field, Right Field Mezzanine tickets would be considered a step up from the inexpensive Rockpile seats in center field. Exposure to Weather   Sitting here will leave fans with high exposure to the sun on day games. However, you will find better coverage (opt for Rows 5 and higher) in the sections closer to the right field corner.

      -

These seats were hand-selected for being close to a wide-range of amenities. They are within five rows of the concourse (fewer stairs) and there is a men’s restroom, women’s restroom and concessions near this section.

    • Recommended For Kids and Family

      -

Right by the interactive area - featuring batting cages, tee ball, and fantasy broadcast booth. Overhead coverage when sitting in rows 4 and higher. Near Dinger's playground and the picnic area
