Seating Tips & Advice

  • "I make sure the seats I do get are between home and 1st base." - I can not afford the high dollar tickets, so I make sure the seats I do get are between home and 1st base. That is where most of the action takes place. Even in the upper seats the view is very good.
  • "Grandstand Reserved are my favorite."
  • "Do not buy SRO!" - DO NOT BUY!!! I paid 50 bucks a pop for 4 tickets to game 5 of the 2010 World Series. We stood over by the 3rd base side and the view of course, was terrible. People were trying to get better views by stepping up on the rails but the ballpark employees and go and tell us to get down. It was November so I woke up the next morning with a cold because the cold air kept hitting my back. It is a ripoff that they would charge 50 dollars to stand and basically be a hassle to the people.

Some of the best seats for staying dry or cool are at the top of the upper deck. This photo from Row 17 shows just how high you have to go to take advantage of the roof.
