Located on the highest tier at Petco Park, Upper Box and Reserved seats will give you the ability to take in the entire atmosphere, but views of the field will be some of the furthest in the stadium.

Sections are all numbered in the 300s and stretch from the right field corner to the left field corner.

Upper Box vs Upper Reserved

Each section is divided into an Upper Box and Upper Reserved portion. The Upper Box seats are located within the first six (6) rows of the section. If price wasn't a factor, most fans would choose these compared to others in the level since they are closer to the field and entry tunnels.

Upper reserved seats will be in any row higher than Row 6. These seats are typically among the cheapest ticket options for any event at Petco Park due to their distance from the field.

Other Upper Deck Notes

Fans sitting in the Upper Box and Reserved seats should expect to be exposed to the sun during day games. There is some shade to be found in the upper rows of the left field sections.

Seats on the right field side will have better views of the scoreboard in left field, but are also some of the worst options for shade.

While the views may be distant, you can still find some good concession options nearby, including the Stone Brewing Beer Garden located just outside Section 309. If looking for a unique experience, sit in section 328 next to the historic Western Metal Supply building.

Sitting in the first row of section 316 was pretty good because there was a nice view. With that said, it took a long time to get there because I had to walk around multiple ramps. But sitting in left field at a 7 pm start time was nice because the sun was already going down.

I don't believe there are any bad seats at Petco Park, but this was not a favorite. It was a windy, drizzly night and being at the very top of this section, the wind was blowing pretty good.
