Who Should Sit Here

Scoreboard Pavilion seats are a good option for fans looking for a mid-tier ticket price while still sitting on the second level of the stadium. These sections are especially appealing for fans who enjoy outfield perspectives, watching bullpen activity, or chasing home run balls.

They are also a solid option for fans who want a step up from upper deck seating without paying the higher prices for infield club sections.

Scoreboard Pavilion Location & Details

Scoreboard Pavilion seating includes Sections 237243 and is located on the second tier behind the outfield walls at Nationals Park.

Although these sections sit at the same height as the Mezzanine Level, they are positioned farther from home plate along the outfield portion of the stadium.

Sections 237 and 238 sit closer to right field, while sections 240243 extend farther toward right-center field.

One of the more unique features of this area is the bullpen located below the front rows of Sections 237 and 238, allowing fans in the first rows to look down and watch pitchers warming up throughout the game.

Scoreboard Pavilion Views

Views from the Scoreboard Pavilion provide a raised perspective of the outfield and the full playing field.

Seats in Sections 237 and 238 are a bit closer to home plate and may offer slightly stronger sightlines toward the infield. Fans sitting in the higher rows of these sections may also have a better chance of catching home run balls hit toward right-center field.

Sections 240–243 sit farther away from home plate, creating more of a center field viewing angle compared to the sections closer to the foul pole.

One drawback of these seats is the location of the main videoboard, which sits directly behind the sections. Fans seated here will need to turn around to view replays and game information.

Sun & Weather

Scoreboard Pavilion sections do not have an overhang above them, meaning fans will typically be exposed to sun, wind, and rain during games.

For day games, these seats can receive extended sun exposure, particularly during afternoon starts.

Overall Value

Scoreboard Pavilion seats provide a nice middle-ground option at Nationals Park.

They offer a second-level vantage point similar to the Mezzanine Level, while often being available at a more affordable price than the infield seating areas. Fans who enjoy outfield perspectives or watching bullpen activity may find these seats especially appealing.
