Marc Anthony - 2016 Tour

Marc Anthony, the best-selling tropical salsa artist of all-time, is embarking on a 2016 tour in support of his most recent album, 3.0. The album is Anthony's most successful effort to date and his 12th Spanish album.
Venues
Marc Anthony will conclude a 5-day run at Radio City Music Hall on September 3rd and will then rest for two weeks before a three-month run through some of the nation's largest cities.
The 2016 tour officially kicks off on September 17th at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Eleven weeks later the tour makes its final stop in the United States at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago. Anthony will play one more show before the end of 2016 - a highly anticipated performance in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

As diverse as his albums, Marc Anthony's tour will take him to a wide array of music venues. He'll play large arenas in Houston (Toyota Center), Dallas (AA Center), San Jose (SAP Center), Denver (Pepsi Center), Orlando (Amway Center) and Miami (two shows at AA Arena). But unlike other superstars, he'll also play smaller venues. These include EagleBank Arena in Virginia and the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. These venues are half the size of the large arenas, yielding better seats for all (but also higher demand).
With the tour occurring exclusively in the fall months, all shows are indoors.
Best Seats For the Tour
Marc Anthony is playing three different types of stage layouts. The first is a traditional end-stage setup in the larger arenas. The second is a theater setup with all seating head-on to the stage. The final setup - only used for the Puerto Rico and Miami shows - is a full house setup with the stage at the center of the arena. Here are our picks for the best seats at each setup:
End-Stage Arenas

With the exception of the Miami concerts and the international show, all arena events are end-stage with a reserved floor. With this in mind, the best seats will be those closest to the stage - either on the side of the lower level or at the front of the floor. In Houston, for example, Floor Section B will be the highest-priced option, while sections 104, 105, 122 and 123 provide some of the best value.
At Santander Arena (Pennsylvania) and the previously mentioned EagleBank Arena, it will be difficult to find a bad seat. These are two of the smallest arenas any superstar will visit in 2016.
Theater-Style Shows
Anthony is playing two casino shows - Foxwoods and Planet Hollywood Las Vegas - and two shows at Microsoft Theater. Each of these venues has the stage setup at the far end of the venue and all seating faces the stage. At these venues, there is no threat of behind the stage seating or extreme side seating.
To maximize your experience, first consider seats directly in the middle of the stage. And if you have bad eyesight, be careful not to go back too far. At Microsoft Theater you'll do well in any of the sections labeled Left Center, Center or Right Center - all the way up to the Loge. Mezzanine seats may be too far some - but these are also the cheapest option.
Full House Setups
The most anticipated shows of the tour are the two in Miami the weekend before Thanksgiving, and the single show in Puerto Rico. With demand expected to be sky-high, these shows all feature a full house setup. The stage will be set up in the middle of the floor and seating will be available 360 degrees around the stage. What this means is that there is no "front" of the stage and Marc Anthony will do his best to face all parts of the crowd. To maximize your exposure to the Latin superstar, consider seats along the sides. In Miami this would be sections 106, 107, 118 and 119. He'll have his back to you at times, but you'll have phenomenal views when he's facing your direction.
