Only about 15% of all seats at TD Ballpark offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
Sections 102-112 at TD Ballpark are located at field level with up-close views of everything happening around the infield. All seats in these sections are within ten rows of the field. Rows A and B at the front, followed by numbered rows.
Sections on the first-base side of the field are closest to the Blue Jays dugout. Row 3 in Section 104 is directly above the Jays dugout, although the netting prevents most interactions with players.
These seats are not covered and will be in direct sunshine during day games. For evening games, sections on the first-base side will be shaded before those on the third-base side.
100 Level Outfield Seating
Sections 100-101 are down the right-field line. Each section has fewer than 10 rows of seats.
On the other side of the field, sections 113-116 have as many as 15 rows. This side of the field is the sunnier side, but these sections have a great angle towards the field.
200 Level Seating
The 200 level at TD Ballpark is not the same as you would find in most major league parks. Instead of being elevated above the field, these sections start just ten rows from the field. Each section has 15 rows which means all seats are within 25 rows of the field.
Guests looking for shaded seats at TD Ballpark will find some relief in the upper rows of these sections. In particular, rows 11 and above in sections 200-205 are the best seats in the shade at TD Ballpark. The sun sets behind these sections and the overhang provides a respite from the sun.
In all 200-level sections, rows 11 and above are covered, making them popular on days when a mid-afternoon or evening storm rolls through.
Drink Rails Seating
Drink Rails at TD Ballpark are scattered about the stadium. Drink Rails 1 and 2 are in the outfield, while Rail 4 is located in foul territory on the first base side.
Rail 1 and Rail 4 have just a single row, while Rail 2 has five rows, including accessible seating in the last row. Besides for the accessible seating row in Rail 2, there are no seats in these areas and ticketholders should expect to stand throughout the duration of the game.
