Virginia Sideline & Visitor Sideline

Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 106, Section 107 and Section 108
100 Level
There are three distinct areas in the lower level at Scott Stadium. Each of these areas offers a different gameday experience.
Sideline sections (e.g.: 121-131) have up to 55 rows of seats with Row A at the front. We like double-letter rows (e.g.: AA) the best because of their quality sightlines and proximity to the concourse.
The Scott Stadium Hillside is located behind the northwest endzone. This is a large grassy area that is usually made up of UVA students.
Finally, Hooville is the name given to sections 112-120 in the opposite endzone. These are a popular alternative for fans who want to sit in the lower level without paying the high cost for a sideline seat.
300 Level
The middle level of the stadium is tucked in between 100s and 500s sections. These sections are protected from the elements and are at an ideal height - but tickets are rarely available for purchase.
500 Level
The upper deck at Scott Stadium is the 500 Level. Endzone tickets on this level will be the cheapest tickets for Virginia football.
Sideline seating on the lower level sells out quickly, but upper level tickets near midfield are usually available. These sections offer very good views - especially in the lower rows.
Virginia Sideline - The Virginia sideline is in front of Section 124, Section 125 and Section 126
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 106, Section 107 and Section 108
Students sit in sections 101-105 and 501-503 for Virginia Football games.
Lower sideline seats at Scott Stadium are located between the goal lines on either side of the field. UVA occupies the south sideline in front of sections 122-128, while the visiting team is found near sections 104-110.
These are the largest sections in the stadium with 45-56 lettered rows in each. With so many. Fans will find vastly different experiences in the upper and lower rows, so it's important to choose a spot that matches up with your needs.
The lowest rows are impressively close to the field and offer a great atmosphere. With student sections located near 104 and 105, these seats have more energy than most.
For fans caring less about a collegiate atmosphere and more about views of the field and comfort, the upper rows are ideal. The highest sideline rows are closest to the tunnel leading to the concourse. By comparison, fans seated in the first row may have to walk as many as 50 rows of stairs for each trip to restrooms and concessions. In addition to quick amenity access, the elevation of the upper rows makes it much easier to see the entire field.
Lower corner seats at Scott Stadium are made up of 100 level sections near each endzone and the smaller 300s sections just behind them. While the numbering is different, the 300s are essentially an extension of the 100 level with wheelchair-accessible seating in between.
Each corner of the stadium has its own unique personality. In the NW corner, sections 101-103 are student seating and the atmosphere is a bit more rowdy. Across the field in sections 129-131 fans will find ok views of the field, virtually no view of the videoboard, but the sun will set behind these sections.
Near the east endzone, sections 111-113 are among the sunniest in the stadium. Sections 119-121 are also heavily exposed, but the sun is not a direct factor in the late afternoon. East corner sections 113 and 119 have some of the best sitelines and are among the best value picks in the lower level.
For the best overall views and access to amenities, choose a row near the top of each section (or in a 300 section). The elevation makes seeing the entire field easier and you'll be closer to the concourse.
Behind the endzone on the lowest level of seating is the Lower Level Endzone seating location. Seating behind the east endzone has the same type of seating found in the rest of the stadium. The views from behind the endzone are great for seeing plays on the near side of the field, but it can be hard to see anything that occurs around the opposite endzone and the field goal posts can potentially be a viewing obstruction for fans sitting in this area.
Behind the west endzone is a unique seating area where fans can sit on a hill. There are no normal stadium seats in this area as fans have to sit or stand in the grass. This area is also unique because it is a Youth seating area for fans 18 years old and younger only.
The best seats in the upper level at Scott Stadium are found in sections 530-536 on the Virginia side and 504-510 on the visitor side. Each of these sections offers an unobstructed view of the field from an elevated perspective.
Some of the best views in the whole stadium are in the first five rows (A-E) of sections near midfield. The views from these seats are similar to the views from the top rows of the lower level and these rows are closest to the concourse tunnel.
Even fans in higher rows will find a better-than-expected experience due to the smallish size of the Scott Stadium upper deck. The longest walks up the stairs lead to Row Z where the height is more similar to the front row of an upper deck as opposed to the last. Fans won't find cover, shade or chairbacks in any of these seats, but neither will fans in the more expensive lower level sections.
High in the corner of the stadium on the second level of seating is the Upper Level Corner seating location. The Upper Level Corner has good views of the near side of the field but the opposite end of the field can be difficult to see. The elevation helps give fans a better opportunity to see the other side, but it also pulls them farther away from the action.
Sections 501, 502, and 503 in this location are part of the student seating area in this stadium. Fans looking to avoid a loud area throughout the game should make sure to sit elsewhere.
As with the rest of the upper deck, corner sections feature rows A-Z with row A at the front and row E closest to the concourse tunnel. Sections 524-527 are among the best values in the upper deck, as they offer a good angle to the field, clear views of the videoboard and less direct sun than 514-516.
The sunniest seats at Scott Stadium are above the east endzone in sections 517-523. While these sections give fans a head-on view of the videoboard, they also give the sun a head-on view of fans in these seats. For late afternoon games and hot early-season contests, be sure to bring the sun block and a hat.
If the sun isn't an issue, you'll find good elevation for seeing the entire field in a single glance, along with views of campus behind the open west endzone. You'll have the best views of scoring plays in the near endzone, but you might struggle to see detail when the ball moves towards the west goal line.
Given their nature as some of the cheapest UVA football tickets, you get a lot more for your money in the cheap seats than you do in other larger ACC football stadiums.
