Section 123 Reviews

Great seats for the price, no foul balls though

Sep 2016

Section 123, Row 25, Seats 16-17

We had balcony (200 level) seats last time and for a few dollars more these were much better. Could actually see the players. It was close to vendors and the restrooms. We didn't catch any foul balls though, those were more to the right of us. We were quite happy with seats. I also want to say that the A's Fans and staff at the Coliseum were really nice to us opposing team fans. None of the vitriolic rivalry you hear about in the news. We had a great view of the Red Sox dugout as well.

Can actually see the players, perfect fit for us

Sep 2016

Section 123, Row 25, Seats 16-17

We could actually see the players unlike the section 200 balcony ones we had last time and for very little more. Was a night game in September, but could be hot on a summer day game as balcony was not covering us. No fireworks this game but these seats would've been great. Close to vendors and restrooms too, no foul balls though.

Good view of entire field

Section 123, Row 22, Seat 8

Good view from these seats. We were in shade by about 3:30pm.

  • Field Level

    -

The closest non-premium seating area for A's games are Field Level seats. On the RingCentral Coliseum seating chart, these are sections 103-130. Each Field Level section contains up to 38 rows with row 1 closest to the field. These sections are separated into an upper and lower portion with rows 1-20 in the lower area. These closer seats are occasionally labeled MVP Infield and MVP Prime. Rows 30 and above are underneath the overhang. On a sunny day, seats in these rows behind home plate are the best tickets for shade at an A's game. Infield Seats at Field Level  Due to the fact that seating flares out so widely at the Coliseum, sections 116-118 are the only Field Level seats that make you feel like you are on top of the action. It also comes as no surprise that these are typically among the most expensive seats at an A's game. Sections 119-122 are above the A's dugout, while 112-115 are above the visitor's dugout. Row 5 is the first row behind each dugout. Field Level Seats Away From Home Plate  The Coliseum is one of the few places where the farther down the line you go, the better the seats get. They are closer to the field and the bowl shape gives them an impressive angle towards home plate. Sections 106-108 and 126-128 would typically be havens for foul balls -- but this is not your typical stadium. You can still catch foul balls there, they're not as plentiful as you might expect. Target sections 126-129 for an up-close view of the A's bullpen and consider sections 105-108 for a look at the visitors when they warm up.

Comfortable views of the field and scoreboard from behind the Athletics dugout. Located near the section entrance for quick trips to and from the concourse. Among the first seats on the lower level to be shaded

  • "Not bad, but not fantastic"

    (Section 116) - -

These are some of the best seats in the stadium. Right behind homeplate, good elevation and Row 16 is only the 4th row up above the premium club seats. If you don't have a dude with a giant melon in front of you like I did, your view is gonna be pretty good. The net behind homeplate will bother some...
