Field Seats Seat Views

Features & Amenities

Some of the best seats for a concert at MetLife Stadium are found directly on the field. This area gives concert-goers some of the closest and best views of the stage.

Reserved Field Sections

Nearly every performer at MetLife Stadium will have a different stage and floor/field section layout. For most shows, reserved sections are numbered (e.g.: Field 1). Reserved sections typically come with a folding chair and seats are assigned with a section, row and number.

General Admission Field Sections

Some shows have one or more general admission sections. These typically go by the names GA Field, GA Floor or GA Pit. These sections can be located anywhere, although Pit sections tend to be closer to the stage and GA Floor and Field sections tend to be larger.

Most general admission tickets at MetLife Stadium will grant you access to a specific section. But there will be no seats in that section and spaces are not reserved. Some GA tickets have rows and seats on them but that is just for book-keeping purposes. Guests who arrive earliest will have first shot at getting the best spot in their general admission floor section.

What the View is Like From Field Level

When searching tickets in the Field Seats, it's important to know what to expect. Here are a few notes that can help you get the right seats:

  • The field is flat
    • Closer rows/sections have less trouble seeing over other guests
  • Field sections along the edges have a sharp angle to the stage
    • Especially in front floor sections
  • Even in reserved sections, it's common for guests to stand and dance

Overall, field seats offer the best opportunity to be close to the stage. If you're worried about other people blocking your view, we recommend purchasing tickets away from the floor where seats rise up over the field.

Field Seats Reviews

Floor seats comfy but distracting!

Aug 2015

Concert Review
Field 15, Row 2, Seats 19-20

It was amazing to walk onto the floor and see how close you were to the stage. When people sat down it seemed like you would be able to see, but it's a concert, no one sits! The aisle seats were comfortable, plenty of room and easy to get into and out of for the hundred times the girls in our row needed to get in and out! The bad thing is that you are 2 rows back from the walkway which means people walking back and forth the whole show! We were also on the left of the aisle, which was great when the performers played the left side of the stage, but terrible when they were on the end of the catwalk, seats 1-2 of our row had the best views. The other problem with floor seats are that people take advantage and come and sit in front of you if there are empty seats, even if that's not their section. My advice, if you have a kid with you, don't sit in the floor section unless you are in the first row of the venue. My poor kid couldn't see a thing the whole show!
