Best Seats For a Concert at Canada Life Centre
The most common seating layout at Canada Life Centre for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 109, Section 111 and Section 112. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Floor: Floor is Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 106, Section 107 and Section 117. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 124, Section 125, Section 126 and Section 127 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 109, Section 111, Section 112 and Section 113. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 204 and 220 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like Loge 307 and Loge 319.

There are better options on the lower level than the 100 Level Corner sections. Closer to the stage than the 100 Level End sections, but do not have the same advantage of head on view to the stage, and will require more head turning during the show. As such, this is the best place to find cheap 100 level tickets for a concert at Canada Life Centre.
Sections here contain up to 16 numbered rows of seats, with the lower numbered rows located closer to the floor.
100 Level Side (Concert) Seating
100 Level Side sections are home to the best views in the main seating bowl for an end stage performance. Floor seating will put you closer to the action, but the 100 level sections feature stadium-style seating which gives you a good viewing height over fans in front (something which is difficult in the floor seats).
Sections 106-107 and 117-118 are excellent options as they keep you close to the stage while still have a view to the center of the performance. Sections in this location have up to 16 numbered rows of seating with the lower numbers being closest to the floor.
200 Level Corner (Concert) Seating
The 200 level corner sections are similar to seats in the 100 level corners, just slightly higher and in the arena and with a further view to the stage. These seats do not have a head on view of the stage, and you can find better seats on the 200 level along the sides (closer to the stage) and at the end (head-on view to the center of the stage).
These seats are often more affordable and a good option for fans looking for a cheap ticket that isn't on the upper seating tier. Sections here have up to 7 numbered rows of seating.
200 Level End (Concert) Seating
Just above the lower level end seats, the 200 Level End gives you excellent head-on views of the stage from a more elevated perspective. These sections are among the smallest in Canada Life Centre, and with fewer rows and smaller numbers of seats in each row these sections are a great option for fans that like to visit the concourse frequently.
200 Level Side (Concert) Seating
With a good viewing height to see down to the elevated stage, the 200 level side sections are a great option for fans that want to stay close to the stage and avoid the higher prices of the lower seating tier.
These seats are located just above the 100 level and share an entry tunnel. With just 7 numbered rows of seating in each section, trips to the concourses are quick and easy.
300 Level Corner (Concert) Seating
300 Level Corner are best for fans that just want to get in the door and see the show. Ticket prices are generally among the lowest in this area due to the far positioning from the stage, and the lack of a head on view.
Sections in this area have up 12 numbered rows of seating.
300 Level End (Concert) Seating
While these seats are some of the furthest available for a traditional end stage concert, the head on views to the center of the stage keep you involved in all the action. A very good option on the upper seating tier for fans that don't have a large budget, but still want to see all the action on the stage.
Sections in this location have 12 numbered rows of seating in each.
300 Level Side (Concert) Seating
These seats are the best option for fans on a budget who don't want to be miles from the stage. The views from Sections 306-307 and 319-320 are near the side of the stage, but are some of the best options on the upper level as it helps you feel close to all the action.
Sections here have up to 12 numbered rows of seating, with the lower rows located closest to the front of the section.
100 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
The most affordable of the lower level seating options, sections behind the net are best suited for the seasoned hockey fan rather than a newcomer at their first Jets game. You'll have some of the best views for watching plays develop, and will also be one of the first to know when a puck makes it way into the near net.
Sections 111-113 are closest to the net where the Jets shoot twice, while the visitors shoot twice closer to Sections 124-127.
100 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
The 100 Level Center seating location at Canada Life Centre is one of the best places to sit to watch a Jets game. Fans will be close to the action and will be able to fully appreciate how fast the game moves down the ice.
Fans can sit behind the Jets bench in Section 119, behind the visitors bench in Section 118, or behind the Penalty Box in portions of Sections 105-106. While seats near the ice can be some of the most exciting, the better overall views will be found in the rows closer to the top of the sections.
100 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
Sitting in the corners of the lower seating tier provides fans with one of the more unique views which you won't typically see during a TV broadcast. You'll be able to enjoy both the goal to goal breakouts, as well as the cross ice movements of the game. From the positioning on the lower seating tier, you will be able to truly appreciate the speed of the game.
Sections 109 and 115 are the best options here for Jets fans as they keep you closer to the net where the Jets attack during the 1st and 3rd periods. If you have the option, we recommend sitting in Section 109 as you will also have a head on view to the players on the team benches.
200 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
The 200 Level sections behind the nets will have a very different feel depending on which end of the ice your tickets are located. Sections 210-214 will keep you closer to the net where the Jets attack during the 1st and 3rd periods.
Sections 225 and 226 are some of the smallest in the arena, which can be great for providing a comfortable atmosphere but will keep you further from Jets attack zone during 2 of the 3 regulation periods.
200 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
From the second seating tier and near center ice, the 200 Level Center sections have the best views of any area for a Jets game at Canada Life Centre. Fans will have amazing sight lines to both nets, and a perfect seating height that gives you great views to almost any area of the ice surface.
Sections 204-207 are among our favorites here as they face the players and coaches on the team benches. 200 level sections also feature fewer rows in each section, allowing for quick and easy trips to and from the seats.
200 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
With perfect elevation from the second seating tier and unique views you don't often find when watching games on your TV at home, the 200 level corner seats are a very good option for the seasoned Jets fan. Sections 208-209 and 215-216 are closest to the net where the Jets shoot twice.
With smaller seating layouts, sections on the 200 level are a great choice for fans that don't want to climb a bunch of stairs to get to and from the seats.
300 Level Behind the Net (Hockey) Seating
For fans working with the tightest of budgets, the upper level seats behind the nets are the best place to find cheap Jets tickets at Bell MTS Place. Views of the far net are challenging, so Jets fans will want to find themselves in the sections closest to the net where the home team shoots twice (311-315).
300 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
Fans looking for the most affordable center ice views will find them here in the 300 Level Center sections. Clear views to both nets and good viewing height allows you to follow the puck in almost any area of the ice, while the higher seating position helps to keep prices more affordable.
300 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
If you're working with a tight budget you can find good values in the corners of the upper seating tier. The views are further than most, and while the causal fan may struggle to enjoy the perspective, the sight lines allow the die hards a unique view that combines the north to south and east to west movements of the game.
Is there any way to find aisle seats at the MTS Centre?
When viewing tickets on our Interactive Seating Charts for the MTS Centre (Hockey or Concert), you can select the "On/Near Aisle" filter located near the right side of the page. Clicking this filter will limit the tickets shown on the map to only those which are located on or near an aisle.
However it is important to note that most ticket sellers will only issue the aisle seats when the entire set of tickets is purchased. For example, if a listing contains aisle seats with a total of 6 tickets available, you may not receive the aisle seats unless you purchase all 6 tickets. As such, we strongly recommend carefully reading the seller notes before making a purchase.
