Built for the start of the 2018 season, the Upper North Endzone seats are a new addition to Kinnick Stadium and are referred to as the Kinnick Edge. These seats have impressive elevation over the rest of the stadium creating a college football atmosphere that can compete with the best.
The video board extends for 3 sections behind 335, 336,and 337. Fans sitting in these Upper North End Zone seats will have to turn around in order to view the board. The sections will consist of 19 rows. The tunnels are located at the bottom of the sections so you will have to walk up several steps to reach your seats.
These seats are located directly above the Kinnick Edge Outdoor Club, the newest premium seats at Kinnick Stadium.
Upper South Endzone Seating
On the Iowa seating chart, Sections 211-221 make up the Upper South Endzone seats at Kinnick Stadium. Each section has 40 rows of seating with Row 1 located right behind a walkway. While you want to be close to the walkway for easy access to concessions and restrooms, Rows 5 and higher will be less distracted by fans in the walkway.
Fans are advised to avoid the high rows in Sections 211 and 212 on cold and windy days. These seats are completely exposed to the elements and are especially susceptible to winds.
Iowa students occupy Sections 219-221, while two videoboards on the opposite side of the field show replays.
Lower Endzone Seating
Seats in the North and South endzones will have a very good head-on view of a videoboard. There are two videoboards (one in each corner) above the North stands and a large videoboard above the South stands.
Sections 111-121 feature up to 31 rows of seating, with the Iowa band seated in Section 116 and Iowa students in 117-121.
