Coleman Coliseum is a no-frills college basketball stadium. There are no seating levels. Instead, each section starts near the floor and has up 50 rows of seats that reach the top of the arena.
Best Places to Sit
In the sections closest to the court, most tickets are labeled as club seats. This includes:
The club seat designation is fairly loose as not all of these seats include access to the club hospitality room.
Our favorite seats are near row 15 in sections C-E and P-R. Guests will have an excellent centered view and quick access to the concourse.
Seats to Avoid
We think it's worth the money to avoid corner sections. Take sections S-V for example.
Section S is along the side, but the seats face behind the basket and have a bad angle to the game. The same thing goes for Section V, which faces the sideline sections instead of the court.
In sections T and U you'll have a better angle. But the top rows of these sections have a low ceiling, are dark and are better off left empty.
This sentiment applies to seating in all four corners of the arena.
Alabama students occupy most of sections R, S, T, U and V.
All Coleman Coliseum seats are chairs with backs. Some floor sections have upgraded, padded seating.
