Close to the Tunnel, Otherwise Forgettable

    Aug 2017

    Baseball Review
    Section 536, Row 4

The best thing about these seats is that - after the long walk up the ramp - this row is close to the tunnel. Otherwise, the view is quite bad. Parts of the field can't be seen and you're really far from home plate. Seats were in the sun for the beginning of a 1pm game, so they were pretty hot. Cool view of the CN Tower though.

    • 500 Level

      -

Highest Seating Tier: Located on the upper deck with the most elevated views in Rogers Centre.    Most Affordable Options: Consistently the cheapest tickets in the ballpark.    Multiple Views: Includes Infield, Down the Line, and Outfield sections with different experiences.    Skyline & Videoboard Views: Great look at the center field scoreboard from infield sections.    Social Spaces Nearby: Access to rooftop patios and social areas on both sides of the level.    Who Should Sit Here  500 Level seats are ideal for fans looking for a budget-friendly way to attend a Blue Jays game. These seats are best for fans who don’t mind being far from the action and are more focused on value, atmosphere, and a full-stadium perspective.  500 Level Location & Details  The 500 Level is the highest seating tier at Rogers Centre, wrapping around the entire stadium above the 200 and 300 levels.  This level is divided into three distinct seating experiences:  Infield (Sections 522-526)  Infield seats are the best overall option on the 500 level.  Located directly behind home plate    Clear view of the entire field and center field videoboard    Strong value for fans who want a centered perspective    However, due to the shape of the upper bowl, some nearby sections (like 518 or 530) sit farther from the field than expected. In many cases, fans can find better value by sitting slightly farther down the line but in closer rows.  Down the Line  Sections along the baselines offer a middle-ground option between infield and outfield seating.  Views are more angled compared to behind home plate    Row selection is important — lower rows provide significantly better views and fewer stairs    Sun exposure varies by side:  First base side: More exposed when the roof is open    Third base side: Better protection and shade    Outfield  Outfield seats are typically the cheapest tickets on the 500 level.  Located farthest from home plate    Highest and most distant vantage point in the stadium    Generally less desirable for fans focused on watching the game closely    On the plus side:  Left field sections offer the best overhead coverage    These areas can feel more enclosed, even when the roof is open    Social Areas on the 500 Level  Recent renovations added two standout social spaces:  Rooftop Patio (Right Field): Open-air lounge with an upscale bar and food options    Park Social (Left Field): Designed like a neighborhood park with games and casual seating areas    These spaces provide a great opportunity to move around, socialize, and enjoy the stadium beyond your seat.

These seats were hand-selected for being close to a wide-range of amenities. They are within five rows of the concourse (fewer stairs) and there is a men’s restroom, women’s restroom and concessions near this section.

      (Section 534) - -

Great view of home plate and the whole field. Being in the second row was great because we didn't have to worry about so many heads to look over especially when people stood up to cheer. With small kids, I wasn't so nervous about the railing as I would have been in the first row.
