The Timber’s Army Supporters Section is built for die-hard Portland Timbers fans who want to actively participate in the match. If you plan to stand, chant, and be part of the loudest atmosphere at Providence Park, this is the section for you. Fans who prefer to sit or want a quieter, traditional viewing experience should consider sideline reserved seating instead.

Timber’s Army Location & Details

The Timber’s Army occupies Sections 101 through 108 in the lower bowl and Sections 201 through 208 directly above, positioned directly behind the north goal at Providence Park.

During Portland Timbers matches, this area operates as General Admission. Although tickets may list a specific seat number for tracking purposes, spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Arriving early is recommended if you want a spot closer to the front rail or directly behind the goal.

Views from the Timber’s Army Section

This section provides a straight-on goal-line perspective from behind the north goal.

It is one of the best places in the stadium to watch attacking plays, corner kicks, and goals scored at that end. Action at the opposite end of the field will feel farther away, and fans may rely more on the videoboards when play shifts south.

Before You Buy

This is the most intense environment at Providence Park. Expect flags, constant chanting, and limited opportunities to sit. If you are attending with small children or prefer a calmer experience, sideline reserved seating may be a better fit.
