    Great Seats

    Jun 2016

    Section 119, Row M, Seat 7

Seats were great but stadium experience was not the best. After a 4 hour drive to the park we spent another hour in gridlock traffic trying to get parked. Then went to will call to pick up tickets purchased thru MLB and was referred to three different service reps at different locations around the park before one was finally able to give me the tickets. Despite arriving in Pittsburgh an hour prior to game time we didn't make it to our seats until the 3rd inning! Then after the game we were directed to a stair and was funneled outside despite wanting to go to the gift store to purchase some fan related items for our kids. They wouldn't let us into the store even with our tickets and directed us to a store down the block that was "open" to the public. We walked there and it was closed right after an afternoon game! That is just poor. Great seats...nice park...but they could do better at advising and preparing fans for the things that can take away from the experience do to lack of local knowledge.

    • Infield Box

      -

Box Level seating is located on the lowest tier of PNC Park in sections 109-124. Seats at the front of these sections are also known as the Lower Infield Box (Rows A-Q), while the higher rows are also known as the Home Plate Box and Infield Box (Rows R and higher). Notes for Infield Box Seats  The views here are excellent thanks to the positioning between the corner bases and a good seating height to see the action on the field.  Sections 114, 115, 117, and 119 are the widest in this area (highest number of seats per row), but have an additional aisle running through the middle for access to rows R and higher. A unique advantage to box level seating is the great overhead coverage you can find in the back rows (particularly in the double lettered rows). You will be well protected from the sun and rain the higher you sit, and will also be closer to the concourse entry tunnels. It is important to note the front rows do not extend all the way to the playing field due to the Home Plate Club and Field Level sections just below.

We liked how close they were to the dugout and field. Fairly roomy and not a long walk to food and restrooms. Nice park.
