Clear view, closer than I thought I'd be
Was very surprised how close this was. It wasn't that close overall, but it was much better than I thought it would be. There were 30 rows on the floor before their aisle, and we were directly in line with the aisle.
So glad we were in these seats, as the height was great to see over the crowd. Floor seats would have been $200/ea more. This was a bargain over and above that.
Amazing Great view close to the action and players. Great food and chance to stand next to the ice during the warm up.
Seating and Ticket Q&A
Any view obstructions in Section 106 at Madison Square Garden?
The safety partition that runs around the upper entry tunnel to Section 106 consists of a glass wall roughly 3 feet tall and a hand railing near the top. Seats 21-22 in Section 106 Row 22 are directly behind the top part of the partition where shorter fans will have difficulty seeing over with a clear view to the floor.
To limit view obstructions in this area, avoid Seats 19-22 in Section 106 Row 22, as well as Seats 1-5 in Section 107 Row 22.
Is the viewing angle for basketball slightly better a few rows up -- like Row 5 vs. Row 1?
Hi, and thank you for your question. This is an excellent question! Sitting in row 1 is not always the best viewing option for a basketball game. You would be in the first row, but it would not be on the floor and there would be floor seats and floor sections in front of you, not to mention the player benches. Sitting in row 5 would offer you a higher elevation to see over the rows in front of you, and in turn provide you with better sight lines to take in all the action.
Section 106 row 2 seats 2&3 . Is there any obstruction ?
Hello, and thank you for your question. After looking at some of the seat views we have for this section, I feel pretty comfortable saying that there should not be any obstruction in Section 106 row 2 seats 2 and 3 for the Elton John Concert at Madison Square Garden.
