Dowdy Ficklen Stadium is a mid-size college football stadium with most seats located in the main bowl.
All sections have lettered-row seating.
Southwest Sideline (Home)
Sections 1-11 make up the southwest sideline behind the ECU bench.
Located between the 20-yardlines are the chairback and premium seats. These seats are a bright purple and stand out against the adjacent bleacher sections.
Northeast Sideline (Away)
The northeast side of the field has a larger variety of seating options with three different levels.
Lower level sections are the largest sections and bring fans close to the players and game. Similar to the southwest side, the sections at midfield (16-18) feature bright purple chairbacks and provide the best experience.
Above those are 100-level seats. Seats here are also known as the club level with chairbacks and slight coverage from the level above.
The 200-level is the most exposed level of seating. Fans enter the sections from the bottom and walk up to their seats. All seats are bleacher style.
East Carolina Sideline - The East Carolina sideline is in front of Section 5, Section 6 and Section 7
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 16, Section 17 and Section 18
Midfield sections 4B-8A and 16-18 - along with the club seats - include chairs with backs.
Student seating will be found in sections 20-31 and 220-221.

Sections 220 and 221 are also part of the Student Seating sections.
The Lower Endzone sections are located on the southeast side of Dowdy Ficklen Stadium. These sections will be directly behind on of the endzones, so fans will have a great view of the action when it comes to this side of the field. Sections 23-31 in the Lower Endzone are reserved for student seating, so you can imagine that these sections can get pretty rowdy on gameday.
The Lower Sideline sections at Dowdy Ficklen Stadium are located on the northeast and southwest side of the stadium. These are the largest sections at Dowdy Ficklen, with no section having less than 53 rows of seating. The Lower Sideline sections are between the 20-yard line and the endzone, so they are great for seeing all of the action when it goes to either endzone.
