    Bring six pairs of sunglasses

    Aug 2014

    Baseball Review
    Lower Reserve 60, Row A, Seat 15

And I don't even know if six pairs is enough. You are so blinded by the sun in the late afternoon that you're better off watching the game at home on a non-HDTV. Row A didn't make matters much better. The first row has less legroom and the railing is right in your face. Furthermore, the foul pole was a distraction in these seats. As the game gets going, you realize that the sun finally sets over the stadium and no one else sits around here, so you can move up a few rows. But for a sold-out game, you're gonna want to buy tickets in a higher row. Row A should be avoided. One cool factor is the visitor bullpen below you.

    • Reserve Level

      -

The Blue Shield Reserve Level is the largest seating tier in Dodger Stadium. It is so large there are two levels within it.  Views can vary greatly due to the size of the level which spans from foul pole to foul pole so it is important to compare tickets when looking to make a purchase. Lower Reserve  Lower reserve sections have the "LR" or "IR" after the section number. These sections are lower in elevation. Row are single lettered from A-V with A being at the bottom of the section. The entire level shares a concourse, so fans will enter the section from the back nearest Row V and head down toward their seats. Sometimes "VIP" or "MVP" designations are given based on the row.  VIP: Rows A-H MVP: Rows J-V Sections 1-11 are the best seats in the location being behind home plate. They also will not have upper reserve sections above them making them slightly less crowded. Value Reserve  Value Reserve sections are in the upper portion of the Reserve Level and have the letter "R" after the section number. Rows will be double lettered with Row AA being at the front nearest the concourse tunnels. The benefit of these over the lower sections is that they are smaller and some offer shaded options. Fans who prefer to be in the shade might want to consider the last few rows of Infield Reserved sections 1 through 11 as they will be protected by the overhanging Upper Deck sections above.

      -

No seating to your right gives you a clear view to the mountain range. Higher seating in the ballpark allows you to better appreciate the scenery

      (Reserve 53) - -

These have to be some of the furthest views available at Dodger Stadium. Buried in the left field corner, the seats feel like they are sitting even higher than the top of the left field foul pole. So while they didn't offer much a view, it was a good place to find shade and even had a nice breeze ...
