I went out to Section 154 before the game to watch some batting practice and try to get my hands on a home run ball (sadly I was not successful). But the view from the front row was very cool, and I felt like I was almost on the outfield grass as the seats are not super elevated above the field level. The section was packed with kids looking to get a ball and interact with the players as they warm up, so I would definitely recommend visiting here if bringing your little ones to the game. Deep center and the left field corner are tough to see unless you lean far over the wall, and you can't see any of the main scoreboard which is located directly above these seats high above right center field. A smaller scoreboard is mounted above the 400 level seats just beyond first base, but it is very far and not easy to read.

Bullpen Boxes

The Bullpen Boxes at Minute Maid Park are a unique seating location in right field under the scoreboard. These are considered home-run seats, and the first 10 rows provide the best experience. The Astros bullpen is in front of sections 155-156, while home run balls from left-handed batters are a common occurrence in sections 152-154. These are some of the sunniest seats in the ballpark, but the overhead terrace provides shade for fans in rows 18 and above. These are ideal seats for fans who want to save a little money on tickets and spend a little money on beers and concessions in the center-field plaza.
