Michigan Stadium Sideline
Features & Amenities
With the majority of seating located in the large single tier bowl, the Sideline sections are the place to be for the best views at a Michigan football game. Fans will have great views to both ends of the field thanks to the highly sought after sideline viewing angles.
Michigan Stadium is also referred to as the Big House due to the large seating capacity, but this also applies to the size of each section. There are up to 98 rows of seating in each section here, starting with Rows A-B at the front, then followed by numbered rows behind. On the east sideline (Sections 1-4, 42-44) entry tunnels are located at Rows 56 and 74, while the west sideline (Sections 20-26) only has tunnels at Row 72.
On the west sideline, fans can find a rare feature at the stadium as chairback seating is available in Rows 85 and higher in Sections 22-24, as well as in half of Rows 85 and higher in Sections 21 and 25.
Students occupy most of the seating in Sections 25 and 26, where it will be a louder and more energetic atmosphere during game day.
