Great corner seats surrounded by fans

    Basketball Review
    Section 114, Row 20, Seat 10

I'm of the opinion that there's no "bad seat" at Madison Square Garden. Every time I'm at MSG, I look forward to checking out a new area of the stadium. This past weekend was no different. I attended a Big East Tournament game at The Garden and I was very impressed. I was squeezed into the middle of section 114, in the corner of the arena facing the benches. Even though it was slightly aggravating having to ask 10 people to stand in order to get to and from my seat, the energy made it worth it. Everyone around me was into the game, screaming at calls and cheering wildly when their teams made a basket. The angle of view from my seat was great too. Wasn't as good as center court, but certainty better than behind the basket. I never felt my view was blocked unless players were shooting threes in the left corner of the court of the near basket. Easily one of my favorite spots I've ever watched a game at The Garden.

    • 100 Level Corner (Basketball)

      -

Fans sitting in the corner sections will find better views and angles to the court in higher rows. Each section has 23 or fewer rows, so targeting rows 15 and higher will give you a quality view of the court and will have you closer to the concourse tunnel.

    • 100 Level Corners (Hockey)

      -

These sections do not come down all the way to the ice because Rinkside seating occupies the first row, but they still provide a very good view of the ice -- especially the puck battles deep in the corner. All corner sections will have to deal with the glass partitions distracting part of your view. Rows 8 and below will be looking through the glass the entire time, while rows 9-15 will be most distracted by looking over and through the glass depending on where the puck is. The Rangers shoot twice towards Section 109, 110 and 114-115.

    • Behind the Stage

      -

For some shows at Madison Square Garden, seats will be sold behind the stage. These seats will have a view to the stage, but fans purchasing these tickets should understand there will likely be some obstructions to seeing the show.  Fans purchasing tickets behind the stage should be aware of the following:  Content or visuals projected on screens may be out of view Portions of the stage may be obstructed by lighting or equipment The performance will face the other direction Majority of the show will be looking at the performer's back   Difference by Level The views from behind the stage differ greatly by level at Madison Square Garden. Those seated in the 100 level, 200 level, and Madison Club will have the clearest views of the stage. The window out to the stage in the 400 level is greatly restricted by the height of the level and overhang above. It is the least desirable location behind the stage for this reason. The 300 level balcony seats have clearer views, but views are steep to the stage due to the height. Fans with a fear of heights might want to stay away.
