Keeneland is a historic thoroughbred racetrack and sales company located in Lexington, Kentucky, in the heart of the Bluegrass region. It opened
on October 15, 1936, with a mission to preserve the traditions of horse racing. The track features a dirt oval and a turf course, and is known
for its scenic setting and classical architecture. Keeneland hosts a prestigious racing meet each spring and fall and is internationally
recognized for its thoroughbred auctions, which have produced numerous champions. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and
is considered one of the most iconic venues in American horse racing.
