Seat Ratings Mentioning Shade/Cover

"Spring Training - Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox - Feb 26, 2025" - ★★★★★
Section 202, Row 11
As requested they were in the shade throughout the day. It was the top row under the NSN booth. Great view of home plate. Not sure about some of the balls and strikes. What made this even more pleasurable was there was no one behind us, the wall was there. Also a nice cooling breeze came through. I would definitely recommend these seats....More

"Fun Spring Experience" - ★★★★★
Green Monster 6, Row 2
The Green Monster is so iconic and it was fun to sit in these seats even if it is just a "knock off" version. There is a screen in front of the seats, so don't plan on catching any home run balls. The seats were mostly in the shade although looking into the sun or brightness. Seats were spacious and there wasn't much of a crowd around....More

"Nice shaded seats!" - ★★★★
Section 213, Row 10
The seats were shaded for the entire game which is a must for us. The only downside is the steps which made it a little more difficult for the grandparents. Was still a fun time as all Red Sox games are!...More

"Spring Training - Atlanta Braves at Boston Red Sox - Mar 9, 2025" - ★★★★★
Section 214, Row 9
Section 214 was great. The higher row seats (as noted in the description) are completely covered, and for a 1PM game we were in the shade all the time....More

"Spring Training - New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox - Mar 17, 2024" - ★★★★★
Section 113, Row 12
Great seats with shade until around the 7th inning.
At JetBlue Park, the best shaded seats are located in the 200-level sections beneath the ballpark's distinctive wavy sun canopy, which extends from foul pole to foul pole. For the most reliable shade, rows 8 and higher in the 200-level sections behind home plate are ideal, as they benefit from both the canopy and the press box overhang. Most 200-level sections provide shade in the higher rows, except for sections G222, G224, G225, G227, and G229.
Additionally, the first base side of the field is generally the sunniest, especially during afternoon games. If selecting seats on the lower level, keep in mind that sections along the first base line will remain exposed to the sun for longer as the game progresses.
