Who Should Sit Here

Upper Level seats are best for fans looking for the most affordable way to attend a Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Field. These sections are popular with fans who don’t mind sitting farther from the field in exchange for lower ticket prices and a full view of the entire ballpark.

Upper Level Location & Details

On the Texas Rangers seating chart, sections in the 300s make up the Upper Level, which is the highest seating tier at Globe Life Field.

Because of their location high above the field, these seats are typically among the least expensive tickets available for Rangers games.

Each Upper Level section contains about 14 rows, with entrances located at the front of the section. Fans seated in higher rows will need to walk up several stairs, which may be something to consider for guests who prefer to minimize climbing.

Sections on this level may be labeled as either Upper Box or Upper Reserved, depending on their location.

Upper Box vs Upper Reserved

Upper Box sections (308317) are generally considered the best seats in the Upper Level. These sections sit closer to home plate and offer more centered views of the field, which typically leads to slightly higher ticket prices.

Sections labeled Upper Reserved are typically located farther from the infield and offer more angled views of the game.

Sections 325 and 326 may also be labeled as Grandstand sections. These seats sit the farthest from home plate and highest in the stadium, which often leads to lower ticket prices and lighter crowds compared to other seating areas.

Upper Level Views

Views from the Upper Level offer a high bird’s-eye perspective of the entire field.

Because of the distance from the action, fans seated here may rely more on the large videoboard for replays and close-up views of the game. Sitting on the third base side can provide better sightlines to the videoboard in left field.

Sections 313 and 314 provide the most centered view from behind home plate and are generally considered the best viewing locations on this level.

Fans who prefer to avoid long climbs may want to choose seats in the lower rows, since the entrance to these sections is located at the front and higher rows require walking up multiple steps.

A bit of a blocked view because of railing.

      (Section 316) - -

My row is the first one that home plate isn't behind the rail barrier at the end of the section. But the rail obstructs all the rows in front so fans lean forward to see which makes this row battle heads to see.

      (Section 308) - -

Have to look through 2 sets of thick railings to see home plate. Would never sit here again.
