Great corner endzone view of entire field

    Feb 2018

    Football Review
    Section 217, Row 24, Seats 7-8

Had these seats from the beginning of stadium opening through the 2008 season. Great seats for a corner endzone view of entire field where you're still down low enough as opposed to being WAY up in the top section, yet are still high enough to see entire field and play from above. The seats are up towards back/top of the section which as far as a vantage point, I prefer more than the front rows of the section. And when the play is coming towards your side of the field, these are great seats. Saw another upset fan comment about fans "neighbors" being unruly and spilling beer on them and had to buy an umbrella to keep the beer off. I call bullcrap first of all because umbrellas aren't allowed in Gillette for football games, nor are they sold there. Sounds like an out of towner who didn't get the experience they wished (kind of understandable given you root for opposing team) but it's far from what we've seen in Philadelphia. But even if they were Patriots fans, fans standing up shouting and spilling a beer happens. Especially at an event where the overwhelming majority are consuming alcohol before and during the games. No different than any football game anywhere. This isn't going to be an opera experience nor should anyone dealing in reality think so. But it also should never be a bad experience and there are plenty of options to make sure it isn't. If anyone feels they're not getting the proper response from the security in their section, there are plenty of security supervisors and managers also around (every level of security have different color jackets so you can tell whose what) but If you felt you weren't getting the response from the first tier security that you wish, you can always find someone above to voice your concerns further. And they're all around too. And even more, if you don't feel you're getting proper help from any of the in stadium folks, there's always cops around who you can escalate things above security and windows located on the lower level cocnourse around both 50's where there's always a couple of cops around along with stadium management/security heads that you can escalate things to. Not sure if they have them in the upper level concourse. Either way you can file your gripes with them and they would handle it with follow up if necessary. The vast majority of seats in the stadium are season tix holders and each season tix holder is held accountable for their behavior as well as those who they give or sell their tix too outside of the tix exchange program. So, I have a tought time believing that review about poor neighbors, etc. didn't get the appropriate action taken IF it was escalated to the proper officials and not just the lowest level (basically ushers) of security. Plenty of options if you're that upset and again... no umbrellas allowed so that's an outright lie. As far as fans in any section 217, the overwhelming majority are season tix holders and know or see each other at each game or the majority. They also know the rules so will there be an occasional boob, ...sure. But for the most part it's a decent crowd to see a game and again the view is terrific for a corner endzone viewpoint. Bottom line, I'd find it hard to think your experience in this section be anything other then good at the worst and that goes for both fan interaction and game viewing experience.

    • Mezzanine Level

      -

On the Gillette Stadium Seating Chart, the Mezzanine Level is the name given to sections on the second seating deck that are not part of the Cross Insurance Club. This includes five sections in each of the stadium's four corners.   Although they don't get the privileges of the club level seats they are adjacent to, these are some of the most under-rated seats for a Patriots game. The 200 level provides an excellent viewing height and the corner view leaves comfortable views of the field and the endzone videoboards. Expect a similar experience for soccer matches.   For concerts, Mezzanine sections on the south end are usually behind the stage and aren't sold. Meanwhile, sections on the north end are about as far away from the stage as you can get. As a result, these are some of the cheaper tickets for a Gillette Stadium concert.   Each Mezzanine section has roughly 25 rows of seats with row 1 at the front. We recommend being as close to the first row as possible for a better view and to limit the number of stairs you have to walk.   These sections offer virtually no protection from rain or snow. And if it's going to be particularly windy, you'll want to avoid sections near the edge (e.g.: 240) which can get quite blustery.

      (Section 240) - -

These seats were felt so much further than the field than I was expecting, and plays at the opposite end of the field were nearly impossible to make out other than on the scoreboard. There were no concessions at the top of the 200 level seats so I had to go down to the main concourse for food and d...

    • "Do not sit here!"

      (Section 216) - -

The glass in front of these seats in row 1 is completely annoying. Adults will have to deal with the partition which completely gets in the way. The height of the seats for seeing the field would be great otherwise and the ledge in front of you makes a nice footrest. Kids are able to see through ...
