Who should sit here?
The Pavilion is the perfect spot for Braves fans who want a "real" seat without paying infield prices. It’s also the go-to section for pitching enthusiasts who want to be as close as possible to the home bullpen action.
Seating Type and Layout
The Pavilion features standard, modern stadium seats with armrests, cupholders, and fold-down bottoms. This is a significant step up in comfort from the grassy Berm in Left Field. The section is elevated above the main concourse, giving it a distinct "grandstand" feel even though it’s located in the outfield.
Field Perspective and Home Bullpen View
Sitting here puts you directly on top of the Atlanta Braves bullpen. You can look straight down to see the pitchers’ mechanics and hear the catcher’s mitt pop. While the view of the batter's box is the furthest in the stadium, the elevation helps you see the entire field play out like a broadcast.
Sun Exposure and Shaded Rows
The Pavilion is famously sunny, but it holds one of the stadium's best-kept secrets: shade. While rows 1 through 8 are typically sun-drenched for a 1:05 PM first pitch, Rows 9 and 10 are often tucked under a cantilevered roof overhang. These back rows are among the few places beyond the outfield wall where you can stay cool.
Things to Know Before You Buy
-
Elevation Factor: Because this section is raised above the concourse, you’ll have a few extra stairs to climb compared to the field-level baseline seats.
-
General Admission vs. Reserved: Depending on the game or ticket package, the Pavilion is sometimes sold as "SunTrust Pavilion General Admission." If your ticket doesn't have a row and seat number, arrive early to snag those coveted shaded seats in the back.
-
Distant Perspective: You are a long way from home plate; if you struggle to track the ball from 400+ feet away, you might prefer a seat closer to the infield.

Fan Reviews
Close to the Bullpen The seats are directly over the bullpen. You can't see the players from the seats but you can hear them warming up below you. Just go down a few steps and WOW there are the players! It was really cool to see the guys you normally watch on TV up so close.
