Grandstand Sections
-There are two primary seating choices at California Mid-State Fair. On the grass you'll find Floor Level seats which are near the stage but can have challenging views if you don't purchase the best seats. The other option is Grandstand seating where you'll have a bleacher-style seat on a riser. Here's how Grandstand sections rank from best to worst: Sections 1-4, 8 These sections offer some of the most comfortable sitelines thanks to their head-on position. We like being up about 10 rows where it's easier to see over everything happening on the Floor. What makes these sections really special is that the upper rows are the only covered seats at Mid-State Fair concerts. In turn, these seats are typically shaded before the rest of the venue. Rows A-R in Sections 10 and 20 These seats don't actually face the stage. Instead, they face the Floor which can result in awkward body contortions to actually see the performance. Never-the-less, these are some of the closest seats to the stage and don't require a long walk to the top of the bleachers. Sections 13-15 (Floor Bleachers) These are usually among the cheapest tickets and are a good alternative to the 500s and 700s. You'll get a similar view but with a little bit of elevation. Section 13 is the smallest of these areas with a significantly better view than sections 14 and 15. Other Seats in Sections 10-12 and 16-20 As mentioned previously, there are some decent seats directly next to the stage. But the rest of these Back Bleachers don't provide a great experience. Here's what to expect: Seats on the side of the stage Viewing angles facing the crowd, not the stage Long walks to the upper rows No views of the main video screens
