See Every NHL Team For Under $500 This Season

Published Sep 24, 2018 / by Tyler Perkowitz

Although it hasn't quite cooled down outside, the NHL season is upon us! Every team will start with a clean sheet of ice, wiping away the highs and lows of the season before. We can't wait to see all the big hits and crafty goals that will come with a new year. We also look forward to the season's new story lines and breakout players. Can the Golden Knights shine again? Will Washington have the chance to repeat? Who will be the surprise contenders?

The NHL Is made up of 31 teams, making our "See Every Team" a little more difficult without the even number. That makes 31 teams in 16 games. Can you spot the team that makes our list twice?

The games were chosen by taking the average home game prices. The teams with the highest prices were then matched with the teams with the lowest to give us the most affordable options. The end price tag is just under $500 which is cheaper than our NFL blog, but not quite as affordable as our MLB blog.

Notable Match-ups

November 11th, 2018 - Minnesota Wild at St. Louis Blues:

A match-up between divisional rivals. Both teams have been strong over recent years, but neither have taken it to the next level. This early season match-up could be an insight into if one team is ready to take the next big step.

October 22nd, 2018 - Washington Capitals at Vancouver Canucks:

Another early season match-up, but the only game with the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Around this time, the question will be clearer if they are in contention or having a hangover season.

November 21st, 2018 - Vegas Golden Knights at Arizona Coyotes:

Was the Golden Knights inaugural season a fluke? This November match-up is about the time that the league started taking them serious last year. It will be interesting to see where they are come November 2019.
